Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) told President Trump on Thursday to stop the “political attacks” and work on replenishing her state’s medical supplies.
During a phone interview with Fox News's Sean Hannity, Trump said he was having problems with "the young, a woman governor,” from Michigan. Whitmer, 48, was elected to the governor’s office in 2018.
“I've asked repeatedly and respectfully for help,” she said, addressing Trump in a Twitter post. “We need it. No more political attacks, just PPEs [personal protective equipment], ventilators, N95 masks, test kits.
