TRUMP TOLD SUPPORTERS;
President Donald Trump told a smaller-than-expected crowd
in Tulsa that he ordered his administration to conduct fewer tests
for COVID-19 to keep America’s official numbers lower.
“When you do testing to that extend, you’re going to find people,
you’re going to find more cases,” Trump said.
“So I said to my people, '‘slow the testing down,'”
he continued.
“They test and they test — we got tests of people
who don’t know what’s going on,” Trump argued.

by reserving tickets by the thousands with no intention of attending
Teens reserved thousands of tickets for Donald Trump's
Tulsa rally on Saturday night with no intention of attending,
social media users have claimed.
Political strategist Schmidt tweeted on Saturday night:
'My 16 year old daughter and her friends in Park City Utah
have hundreds of tickets.
You have been rolled by America's teens.
'@realDonaldTrump you have been failed by your team.
You have been deserted by your faithful.
No one likes to root for the losing team.'
'This is what happened tonight. I'm dead serious when I say this.
The teens of America have struck a savage blow against @realDonaldTrump.
All across America teens ordered tickets to this event.
The fools on the campaign bragged about a million tickets. lol.'
Trump's campaign, for its part,
declared that it had received over a million ticket requests.
Political scientist Alyssa R. Williams wrote:
'My 17 yr old daughter & friends did the same.
I thought she was kidding me
on how many teens were on board. Amazing!'
Teresa Moore replied: 'It wasn't just teenagers.
I'm 60 and I've got 300 tickets. And I'm an Oklahoma Democrat.'
Lynn V tweeted: 'My 16 year old son just told me he
knows a bunch of KPop Stan's who were getting tickets to the Trump Rally.
He said he didn't do it because Trump isn't even worth a fake ticket.'
Brad Parscale, campaign manager for Trump's 2020 campaign's
tweeted that 'radical protestors...
interfered with @realDonaldTrump supporters at the rally'.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, responded:
'Actually you just got ROCKED by teens on TikTok
who flooded the Trump campaign w/ fake ticket reservations & tricked you
into believing a million people wanted your white supremacist
open mic enough to pack an arena during COVID
Shout out to Zoomers. Y'all make me so proud'
'KPop allies, we see and appreciate your contributions in the fight for justice too.'
On Saturday, Trump tried to explain away the crowd size,
blaming it on the media for declaring 'don't go, don't come,
don't do anything' while insisting there were protesters outside
'doing bad things,' though the small crowds
of pre-rally demonstrators were largely peaceful.
In the minutes before the president arrived at the downtown arena,
Trump supporters who signed up for tickets received a text
urging them to show up, declaring, 'There´s still space!'
City officials had expected a crowd of
100,000 people or more in downtown Tulsa.

Donald Trump declared “the silent majority is stronger than ever before”
at his comeback rally on Saturday,
but thousands of empty seats appeared to tell a different story.
The US president’s much hyped return to the campaign trail
turned to humiliation when he failed to fill a 19,000-capacity arena
in the Republican stronghold of Oklahoma,
raising fresh doubts about his chances of winning re-election.
“The Emperor has no crowd,”
tweeted Dan Pfeiffer, a former senior adviser to Barack Obama.
First, Trump’s planned speech to an overflow event outside
the venue was cancelled due to lack of attendance.
Cable news networks showed a “Trump” lectern standing idle
as workers dismantled a stage.
Then the rally venue itself was estimated to be only two-thirds full,
with numerous empty seats in the upper tier and empty space on the area floor,
despite his campaign having claimed that it received
more than a million ticket requests.
Trump officials Oklahoma had surely seemed a safe bet
for the so-called “transition to greatness” event;
Trump had defeated Hillary Clinton 65% to 29% in 2016.
The low turnout will be a blow to Trump,
whose campaign reportedly saw it as a way to revive his
flagging spirits amid slumping poll numbers.
The president had said last Monday:

And we certainly won’t in Oklahoma.”
