Joker has been one of the most talked about films in recent memory, and its drawn obvious comparisons to The Dark Knight. Joker has also been nominated, Joaquin Phoenix in particular, in the best actor category at the Oscars. Heath Ledger won that very category for his portrayal of the character. I thought it would be interesting to break down two Joker scenes to see what exactly elevates these performances, this is what I came up with.
