’Never heard of them’: Arizona GOP audit firm unknown even in home state.
Almost no one involved in GOP politics in Florida, where the company is headquartered, has a clue about the firm conducting the review.
According to the independent Arizona Mirror, Logan authored a document, bristling with conspiracy theories surrounding voting machine companies, that was posted on the website of lawyer Sidney Powell.
The Arizona Republic newspaper also found social media posts from Logan and Cyber Ninjas that call into question their impartiality.
"The parallels between the statistical analysis of Venezuela and this year's election are astonishing," Logan wrote on Twitter in December, before deleting his account, according to the Republic.
In a statement issued to local press in Arizona, Dominion criticized Cyber Ninjas as a partisan audit.
“The firms selected to conduct this audit are beyond biased,” the statement said. “Publicly available information shows they are led by conspiracy theorists and QAnon supporters who have helped spread the Big Lie.
Dominion supports all forensic audits conducted by independent, federally accredited Voting System Test Labs — but this is not that.
Over a thousand independent audits and recounts have taken place across the country since Election Day, and they all demonstrated the accuracy and reliability of our voting systems.”
In Florida, a few GOP insiders couldn’t help but chuckle at the Cyber Ninjas name or its low-production-values website, which features stock photos of ninjas and people at generic business meetings.
The Cyber Ninjas website does not indicate it has experience in election audits but instead markets itself to clients who want to be protected from hackers.
“While it often seems like [hackers] must be utilizing some dark ninja magic to accomplish their amazing feats; the reality is that most security breaches are conducted utilizing types of security vulnerabilities we’ve known how to prevent for over 10 years,” says the website, which features stock photos of ninjas and people at generic business meetings.
Maricopa County, which is controlled by a majority-GOP board of supervisors, released a forensic audit in February showing no irregularities were found.
The new audit will not change the 2020 election results in the state or nation, but it stands to further fuel claims of fraud in the Arizona election results.

Arizona Audit.
Laurie Roberts, columnist for the Arizona Republic, was interviewed by Chris Hayes on Thursday after she called for the Department of Justice to "protect our ballots from whatever the heck is going on."
Roberts wrote about the search for bamboo in the ballots because of a conspiracy theory that tens of thousands of ballots were flown in from southeast Asia.
"And so amateur sleuths in this official state audit are now --using UV lights and 5K cameras to check for bamboo. (((BWAHAA! FER FUK AHAA)) Because if bamboo is found in those ballots then aHA! Enter: China. Or possibly, North Korea.Never mind the fact that not all paper produced in Asia contains bamboo or that not all paper that contains bamboo is produced in Asia," she wrote. "Or that this is INSANE."
"Be assured this audit isn't about bamboo. It's about bamboozling the Republican base in believing that something nefarious happened here in Arizona, once upon a time a model for the nation in how we conduct elections. It's about keeping the contributions flowing and the outrage boiling. It's about accepting no result other than the result that they demand," she explained.
Hayes asked about the bamboo conspiracy theory.
"First of all, i would say I'm not aware of any bamboo in the ballots. If they find it, bring it on. If not, I will also say that bamboo actually grows in Arizona," Roberts said.
"I actually had a reader today who suggested how we can cut right through this and get moving on given the fact that so few ballots have been counted and the clock is ticking. He suggested that we just import a couple of pandas from wherever they are. He said San Diego, but I don't think they have them anymore. Import the pandas, throw the ballots on the floor, see which ones they eat, and then we'll know," she joked.
"I say bring in the pandas," she said.
((Arizona audit.-it's crazy lunatic trump junk.. They are embarrassing America and they look like fools they are BWAHAA! HAA!))

Arizona nixes botched election audit plan after DOJ intervenes.
The Arizona Senate is ditching its controversial measure to knock on doors and ask Arizona residents about their voting history. According to AZCentral, Senate President Karen Fann (R) on Friday penned a letter U.S. Department of Justice detailing the decision.
The ditch effort comes as federal officials expressed concern about how the canvassing could infringe upon residents' civil rights and the laws enacted to put a stop to voter intimidation.
The Arizona Senate contract agreement with Cyber Ninjas, the Florida-based firm tapped to conduct the audit, says that a "registration and votes cast team" has already completed work with a number "in order to statistically identify voter registrations that did not make sense, and then knock on doors to confirm if valid voters actually lived at the stated address."
However, Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan refused to explain the company's methods for identifying voters but claimed their work was "based on a statistical analysis performed by someone else he would not identify and maintained that canvassers would not ask anyone how they voted."
On Wednesday, May 5, Fann also expressed concern about the nationwide overhauls being made to voting and election practices and how many of the measures appear to be aimed at predominately minority communities. Pamela S. Karlan, who serves as the principal deputy assistant attorney general in the Justice's department's Civil Rights Division, also weighed in with her concerns.
"Such investigative efforts can have a significant intimidating effect on qualified voters that can deter them from seeking to vote in the future," wrote Karlan.
Although the Arizona Senate has indicated that it will suspend canvassing for the foreseeable future, Fann did not say if the effort would not be revisited in the future.
Fann wrote, "If canvassing is necessary to complete the audit, we believe these protocols, which will be reinforced by thorough training programs, would permit the Senate to discharge its legislative oversight and investigation functions without compromising the rights or privacy of any voter." |

'It makes us look like idiots': Arizona Republican admits he was wrong to support 'ridiculous' vote audit.
A Republican state senator from Arizona is now admitting it was a mistake to back Trump supporters' so-called "vote audit" that has devolved into a total circus.
In an interview with the New York Times, Arizona State Sen.Paul Boyer said that he was embarrassed to have ever supported the audit.
"It makes us look like idiots," he told the Times. "Looking back, I didn't think it would be this ridiculous. It's embarrassing to be a state senator at this point."
The Arizona audit, which is taking place with Trump's enthusiastic support, is being conducted by partisan operatives, including one man who participated in the January 6th MAGA riots at the United States Capitol building.
The audit has drawn widespread ridicule, even from many Republicans, after it was revealed that auditors are searching for traces of bamboo in the ballots, which they claim would be evidence of Chinese tampering in the 2020 election. |

Arizona Republicans are getting nervous about ballot audit as they become a laughingstock: .
The Arizona Republican Party has become a laughing stock after their so-called election "audit" has turned into an international joke, reported the Arizona Republic.
As the so-called audit goes into its final week, it has become clear that the counters won't be able to make it through all of the 2.1 million ballots from Maricopa County. They did, however, manage to examine the paper to see if any were made of bamboo after a conspiracy theory that southeast Asia sent 40,000 ballots to Arizona.
Former President Donald Trump has been glued to the Arizona case while sitting in his Mar-a-Lago golf club.
The Republican Party was given all of the ballots after a subpoena from the State Senate. There were serious problems at first, namely that GOP "auditors" had the ability to change votes in the first few days because they were using blue or black ink to "count." The firm auditing the county, Cyber Ninjas, has been linked to the Stop the Steal movement, which brings even more illegitimacy to the Arizona GOP's process.
The audit, however, and its association with laughable right-wing conspiracy theories "are doing serious damage," the Republic said.
"I just want it over. I think Arizona needs to move on and not be the center of more of this political gossip," former GOP Secretary of State Betsey Bayless told the paper.
Former Trump surrogate Gov. Jan Brewer (R-AZ) avoided any discussion of the audit, as did former GOP Secretary of State Michele Reagan.
Gov. Doug Ducey (R-AZ) is also trying to avoid talking about it when questioned by reporters.
"Let this be completed, and then we can talk about what the findings are," Ducey said Thursday adding he's "focused on my day job."
"No one has been a more vocal advocate for Arizona elections than the governor — from the state Capitol to the Oval Office," said Ducey's spokesperson claimed. "The Senate is a separate, co-equal branch of government and has been granted the ability to examine the ballots by the court, another separate and co-equal branch of government. The executive branch has not been involved in the process."
Even former U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ) wanted no part of the GOP audit.
"It is always the case that when there are serious controversies within a political party, it doesn't do the party any good," Kyl told the Republic over the phone. "And I think the divisions within the Republican Party will not reflect well on the party's chances of success in the next election. That's pretty obvious."
Now, some Republican officials are using Arizona to justify an "audit" of their own ballots in select Democratic counties in their states. The report explained, "pro-Trump figures have formed an organization dedicated to examining election integrity in eight states, including Arizona."

Many Radical Left Democrats and weak Republicans are very worried about the fact that this has been exposed. The DELETION of an entire Database and critical Election files of Maricopa County is unprecedented. Many other States to follow. The Mainstream Media and Radical Left Democrats want to stay as far away as possible from the Presidential Election Fraud, which should be one of the biggest stories of our time.
Fox News is afraid to cover it—there is rarely a mention. Likewise, Newsmax has been virtually silent on this subject because they are intimidated by threats of lawsuits. One America News (OAN), one of the fastest growing networks on television, and the “hottest”, is doing a magnificent job of exposing the massive fraud that took place.
The story is only getting bigger and at some point it will be impossible for the weak and/or corrupt media not to cover. Thank you to OAN and other brave American Patriots. It is all happening quickly!

| 5-16-2021 AP U.S. Justice Department worried about Arizona vote recount.
Instead of a wake-up call spurred by those two Trump-era losses and Biden’s narrow statewide victory, they worry the audit is the latest sign of the Republican Party marginalizing itself in a state where it once reigned supreme.
“First of all, you do need to get to a point where you say, 'Okay, we're done. We have sufficiently addressed concerns that might be out there in the community.' And I feel like we had gotten to that point,” Bill Gates, a Republican Maricopa County supervisor, said in an interview. He said the county’s previous audit and recounts of ballots already determined there were no issues in the election.
“I believe that this is only appealing to a certain segment of the Republican Party. I think there are many Republicans who are horrified by what's going on. I think there are very few independents who aren't horrified by what's going on. ''
The worries go beyond the political ramifications. Election administrators and security experts are also gravely concerned it will further erode trust in the election and open the door to more unwarranted challenges to future elections, in the state and elsewhere.
“This is not an audit. It’s not even a recount,” said Tammy Patrick, a former Maricopa County elections official “If we continue to indulge this kind of activity, we will not be living in a true, healthy democracy.”
State Senate President Karen Fann this week sent a letter to Maricopa County’s board of supervisors raising “serious issues” stemming from the audit and requesting a public meeting next week.
The board chair, Republican Jack Sellers, said in a statement that the firm conducting the audit was "in way over their heads" and called the claims "dangerous."
“There's a great opportunity, but the last thing that the party should be doing right now is relitigating the 2020 election and basically saying that if you don't believe in the Big Lie, then you're not welcome in this party,” Gates said. |

'Insane lies' - from Trump called out by Arizona Republican: 'This is unhinged'.
Donald Trump was blasted by the top elections official in Maricopa County on Saturday after releasing a statement about the controversial Arizona audit.
"The entire Database of Maricopa County in Arizona has been DELETED!" Trump claimed.
Republican Stephen Richer said that is not true.
"I'm literally looking at our voter registration database on my other screen. Right now," Richer noted.
"We can't indulge these insane lies any longer. As a party. As a state. As a country." "This is as readily falsifiable as 2+2=5. If we don't call this out..."
KPNX-TV reporter Brahm Resnik says the falsehood originated from the Arizona audit and Senate Republicans.

Arizona county destroys top GOP official's recount company as 'grifters and con-artists'
Arizona's Maricopa County Board of Supervisors in a letter sent Monday slammed both the State Senate Republican President and the company she chose to perform a highly-controversial recount of the 2020 presidential election ballots.
That recount, which has been going on for nearly four weeks, has been plagued by regular reports of irregular and suspicious actions and, as the Board of Supervisors said today, "ineptitude."
Already the U.S. Dept. of Justice has notified the company performing the recount, Cyber Ninjas, that it is watching their actions and warning them their actions may violate the law.
On the Raw Story Podcast: Marcus Flowers Marjorie Taylor Green's worst nightmare The Maricopa Board of Supervisors – which is made up of four Republicans and just one Democrat – Monday did not hold back, blasting Senate President Karen Fann, accusing her of lying, among other disturbing actions.
Fann, in a false accusation picked up and repeated by Donald Trump over the weekend, claimed Maricopa County deleted an entire database. The accusation was made either out of ignorance or political vengeance, or both, but the damage has been done.
The County responded today, calling the accusations "false, defamatory, and beneath the dignity of the Senate."
"We demand that you immediately rescind your false and malicious tweet," the county tells Senate President Fann in a 13-page letter, "asserting that Maricopa County 'spoiled evidence' in the days before we provided the server to the Senate. Your tweet, which relies on the 'modified date' shown in the screenshot as evidence of wrongdoing, is demonstrably false; the only thing it does demonstrate is your auditors' incompetence. Their stunning lack of a basic understanding for how their software works is egregious and only made worse by the false tweet sent defaming the hardworking employees of Maricopa County."
The Senate, Maricopa County adds, "is only interested in feeding the various festering conspiracy theories that fuel the fundraising schemes of those pulling your strings."
You have rented out the once good name of the Arizona State Senate to grifters and con-artists, who are fundraising hard-earned money from our fellow citizens even as your contractors parade around the Coliseum, hunting for bamboo and something they call "kinematic artifacts" while shining purple lights for effect. None of these things are done in a serious audit. The result is that the Arizona Senate is held up to ridicule in every corner of the globe and our democracy is imperiled.
A few more excerpts:
"Your various questions about our election procedures reveal a serious lack of understanding of election law."
"a spectacular lack of understanding on your part"
"we cannot give you a password that we do not possess any more than we can give you the formula for Coca Cola. We do not have it; we have no legal right to acquire it; and so, we cannot give it to you."
"We will not be responding to any additional inquiries from your "auditors". Their failure to understand basic election processes is an indication you didn't get the best people to perform in your political theatre. We have wasted enough County resources. People's tax dollars are real, your 'auditors' are not."
"Your 'audit' is harming all of us, and we ask you to end it."
But perhaps among the most disturbing accusations Maricopa County makes, is, as The Guardian's Sam Levine reports, Cyber Ninjas is "just straight miscounting ballots." Read this short tweet:.

| Serial numbers missing between original, duplicate ballots in Arizona election audit: official
The Arizona Senate's audit of Maricopa County's general election has hit a new snag: verifying whether some ballots may have been counted twice. The liaison between Senate Republicans who authorized the audit and county officials told a hearing Tuesday that serial numbers were missing on damaged ballots that were duplicated so they could be read by vote tabulation machines. https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/elections/serial-numbers-missing-between-original-duplicate-ballots-arizona |

Audit could force Arizona to replace voting machines given to Cyber Ninjas.
The controversial audit of the 2020 presidential election by Arizona Republicans could end up costing the state millions.
Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs sent a letter to Maricopa County saying that all of the voting machines turned over to the GOP audit may need to be replaced.
"I am writing to express my concerns about Maricopa County's election equipment that was turned over to Senate President Karen Fann and Senator Warren Petersen and their agent, Cyber Ninjas, pursuant to the January 12, 2021 subpoena, including components of the certified Dominion Democracy Suite 5.5B voting system," Hobbs wrote.
"I have grave concerns regarding the security and integrity of these machines, given the chair of custody, a critical security tenet, has been compromised and election officials do not know what was done to the machines while under Cyber Ninjas' control," she explained.
Hobbs says she consulted with experts and the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and "each unanimously advised that once election officials lose custody and control over voting systems and components, those devices should not be used in future elections."
Reporter Ben Giles of Arizona public radio station KJCC noted that the state of Arizona may be on the hook for replacing the machines after indemnifying Maricopa County.

Maricopa County requests litigation hold on Fraudit. Maricopa County Attorney
ALLISTER ADEL May 21, 2021 VIA EMAIL ONLY
The Honorable Karen Fann President of the Arizona Senate Fifty-Fifth Legislature 1700 West Washington, Senate Building Phoenix, Arizona, 85007 kfann@azleg.gov
RE: Litigation Hold and Preservation Notice
Dear Senate President Fann:
Our office represents Maricopa County, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, the Office of the Maricopa County Recorder, Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer, in his official capacity, and County employees. Your May 13, 2021 letter to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jack Sellers, which was published widely, falsely claimed, “[w]e have recently discovered that the entire ‘Database’ directory from the D drive of the machine ‘EMSPrimary’ has been deleted.
This removes election related details that appear to have been covered by the subpoena…[t]his suggests that the main database for all election related data for the November 2020 General Election has been removed.”
Soon after, the Senate Audit’s twitter account posted, “Breaking Update: Maricopa County deleted a directory full of election databases from the 2020 election databases from the 2020 election cycle days before the election equipment was delivered to the audit: This is spoliation of evidence!”
On May 17, 2021, Representatives Matt Gaetz, Andy Biggs, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar sent a letter to the Department of Justice asserting this false claim that “an entire ‘database’ directory of election information was deleted from the Election Management System Primary Machine…[t]the apparent deliberate deletion of the election management system prior to the information being transferred to the independent auditors, runs afoul of Arizona election law.”
The Representatives’ false claim relied solely on these false statements. Our clients delivered the server exactly as it was kept by the Maricopa County Elections Department. Nothing was deleted, or added, from the server when we prepared it to be sent to the Senate pursuant to the Senate’s subpoena.
LITIGATION HOLD NOTICE & DOCUMENT PRESERVATION REQUEST Because of the wrongful accusations that the County destroyed evidence, the County or its elected officers may now be subject to, or have, legal claims.
Likewise, we have reason to believe this audit is not being done in accordance with Arizona law. Accordingly, as set forth in detail below, you must preserve all documents related to your “audit”, including any and all communications between you and any other member of the Senate or their staffs, and also any communications between you and your agents, including, but not limited to, Ken Bennett, Cyber Ninjas, CyFir, Wake TSI, and those firms’ various owners, officers, employees, agents, subcontractors, or volunteers that they utilized in the conduct or furtherance of the “audit” you and they are conducting.
You must give this litigation hold letter to all of your agents, contractors, volunteers, or anyone else who is designated, retained, employed, or otherwise utilized by you or the Arizona Senate to participate in the “audit” being conducted of Maricopa County’s election equipment and ballots. This includes whoever operates the “audit’s” Twitter account. All those persons are likewise subject to this litigation hold letter.
In general, litigants have a duty to preserve documents and evidence that they know, or reasonably should know “‘is relevant in the action, is reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible evidence, is reasonably likely to be requested during discovery and/or is the subject of a pending discovery request.’” Souza v. Fred Carries Contracts, Inc., 191 Ariz. 247, 250 (Ct. App. 1997) (citing Turner v. Hudson Transit Lines, Inc., 142 F.R.D. 68, 72 (S.D.N.Y.1991)).
Please preserve and ensure that you and the Senate’s agents and/or representatives preserve all such documents and evidence in their possession, custody and/or control. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
1. All documents and evidence, whether paper or electronic, including but not limited to written records, photographs, video, audio, recordings, spreadsheets, calendars, contact lists and/or contact files, logs, data files, dictations, databases, images, texts, timelines, archive files, browsing histories and tangible evidence.

This includes but is not limited to any communications and/or correspondence on third party messaging systems/applications such as WhatsApp, SnapChat, Telegram, and Signal.
3. All Social Media information, including but not limited to account information, posts, communications, photographs, images, videos, audio, invites, likes, tweets, comments and messages. Social Media includes, but is not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Tumblr, SnapChat, Meetup, Parler, MeWe, Gab, and/or LinkedIn.
4. Please preserve all physical cellular and/or computer/tablet devices (“Devices”) owned or used by you and your agents, clients and contractors for the “audit” of Maricopa County’s election equipment and ballots, as well as any subcontractors that they or you have retained, employed, or utilized in any way in the furtherance of your “audit.” Please note that these devices must be preserved in their entirety, for forensic imaging and ESI.
5. All application data and metadata relating to any social media or third-party messaging apps located on the Devices, such as the existence and contents of chat logs, including but not limited to any and all “disappearing” or “deleted” messages notifications, including messages sent or received by clients. Please note that this obligation includes records of the download and/or deletion of the social media or third-party messaging apps in their native format. 6. Any and all records from the applicable “App Store” for the Devices, above, recording the purchase and download of any social media or third-party messaging app from App Store accounts linked to the Devices.
7. Any and all records, whether paper or electronic, pertaining to account information, calls, texts, messages and/or other communications on the Devices, maintained by the cellular service provider and/or application provider and/or messaging provider in relation to your clients’ Devices.
The above list is not exhaustive and is not intended to act as a substitute for your and your agents’ careful review of all documents, files, evidence, and Devices to identify and preserve those documents and evidence that may relate to our clients claims against you and your agents.
Please keep in mind that the term “documents” is interpreted broadly to include paper, electronic, audio and video recordings, computer-based records (i.e., databases), e-records/digital records, and any other recorded forms of information that may be related to your and your agents’ actions related to the Senate’s “audit” of the 2020 general election.

All documents that may relate to the allegations should be maintained and preserved regardless of their date. All documents that are preserved must be maintained in their original state, without destruction or alteration, until our Office has notified you in writing that any dispute arising from the allegations has been fully resolved. This includes maintaining in its original form all metadata.
A failure to preserve these materials could prove detrimental to the legal interests of our clients. The case law in Arizona and the Ninth Circuit empower the trial courts to impose significant sanctions against parties who fail to preserve evidence.
The body of case law includes the imposition of potentially significant sanctions for the willful destruction of evidence as well as non-willful and non-bad faith failure to preserve evidence. The Trump-backed "audit" of the 2020 election in Arizona is sinking deeper into madness, as Arizona GOP Chairwoman Kelli Ward this week threatened her own party's officials with arrest.
The Daily Beast reports that the audit has been driving divisions within the state GOP even deeper, and Ward is now pushing for the arrest of Republican election officials in Maricopa County if they refuse to comply with the auditors' demands.
"There have to be consequences," Ward earlier this week. "There could be arrests of people who are refusing to comply."
The "audit" of the 2020 election has drawn widespread criticism and ridicule from elections experts, who have called it unprofessional and completely biased.
Among other things, auditors have been mocked for searching for bamboo fibers in ballots, which they say would prove nefarious Chinese influence over Arizona's elections last year.
Additionally, some Trump supporters have accused Maricopa County elections official of shredding Trump ballots, feeding them to chickens, and then having the chickens incinerated to cover up the evidence.

| Arizona's Secretary of State 'stripped' of duties after criticizing election audit Brigid Kennedy Tue, May 25, 2021, 3:20 PM
After publicly expressing "grave concerns" over Arizona's audit of the 2020 election results, Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D) was "stripped" of her ability to "defend election lawsuits" by the state's Republican-led House Appropriations Committee, reported Arizona's ABC 15 on Tuesday. The duty was transferred "exclusively" to Attorney General Mark Brnovich (R) through the end of the 2023 fiscal year.
Democrats say the move is retaliation against Hobbs' defense of Arizona voters in "lawsuits filed by the State Republican Party and others challenging Arizona's election results," per ABC 15. "It can't be just a coincidence" that Republicans are blocking a "vocal critic of the audit," writes Elvia Díaz for azcentral.com. Democratic State Rep. Randy Friese reportedly called the move "troubling," "disturbing," and "quite nefarious."
Furthermore, the Appropriations Committee removed Hobb's "oversight of the Capitol Museum," ABC 15 reports, after Hobbs angered state lawmakers when she "flew a gay pride flag from the building's balcony" in 2019.
In an article for azfamily.com, Hobbs labeled the entire audit "a political stunt," adding that it is "dangerous to people's safety and to the integrity of our democracy."
She later tweeted a photo on Tuesday of a fruit basket sent by Stacey Abrams and Fair Fight, saying that's how "you know you're doing it right. |

Arizona audit loses tech company that was leading hand recount
An information technology company has backed out of running the hand recount of ballots in the infamous Arizona election audit.
The contract with Pennsylvania-based Wake TSI ended as scheduled on May 14, the original completion date for the hand count of ballots cast in Maricopa County, and the company chose not to renew its contract, reported AZCentral.
"They were done," said Randy Pullen, an audit spokesperson and former state GOP chair. "They didn't want to come back."
The Scottsdale-based technology company StratTech Solutions is now in charge of the hand count, although the firm has no election or auditing experience.
Senate Republicans had boasted of Wake TSI's experience when announcing participants in the audit, having performed a 2020 election hand count in Fulton County, Pennsylvania.

New Hampshire election audit praised by Trump shows no evidence of voter fraud.
Former President Donald Trump praised an audit in a state legislative race in the town of Windham conducted by the state of New Hampshire earlier this month, suggesting that there could be proof of voter fraud. But as Forbes pointed out this Friday, Windham's auditors on Thursday announced there's no evidence of voter fraud.
The announcement was yet another blow for Trump supporters looking for confirmation of their voter fraud conspiracy theories.
"Nothing today is showing evidence of fraud. Nothing today is showing evidence of digital manipulation of the machines. Right now, it seems to be a case of a perfect storm," Harri Hursti, a computer security expert hired by the state to help lead the audit, said Thursday.
Sununu says New Hampshire's election was fair and secure, regardless of whatever might have happened in Windham," Forbes reports. "Still, some conservatives in Windham and around the country saw the audit as an opportunity to expose the kind of widespread vote-rigging Trump falsely insists was rampant in swing states like New Hampshire, which Biden won by almost 60,000 votes.
At one point, town residents unsuccessfully pushed for the audit to be partly led by Jovan Pulitzer, an inventor and former treasure hunter who has cast himself as an election security expert in right-wing circles."
Even Trump's former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, said he doesn't necessarily think the town was targeted by widespread voter fraud.

The Madness of the Maricopa County Election Audit.
MORE IN ARIZONA ‘It Must Have Been Stolen’
In the immediate aftermath of the November 3, 2020, election, Maricopa County oversaw a hand-count audit of over 47,000 votes, a statistically significant sampling as determined by multiple professional statisticians.
The recognized political parties — Republican, Democrat, and Libertarian — administered the hand count in groups of three volunteers appointed by party leadership. Those hand-counted results matched the machine-tabulated results with 100 percent accuracy. Perfect accuracy. This was the third hand count performed by the political parties in 2020 that confirmed the accuracy of Maricopa County’s tabulation equipment.
The same is true of the pre-election and post-election tests done of the tabulation equipment — 100 percent accuracy. The machines are state and federally certified, and the county has used machines owned by the same parent company (Dominion) since 1998 without problems or discrepancies.
Nonetheless, in February, the county enlisted two professional, certified elections-equipment companies to analyze the oft-voiced concerns regarding the Dominion tabulation software and hardware. The county asked the two election companies to do everything necessary to:
__Analyze hacking vulnerabilities of both the tabulation hardware and software __Verify that no malware had been installed to the tabulators __Determine if the tabulators had connected to the Internet at any point before, during, or after the election __Assess if any vote switching occurred as a result of the tabulators Both companies used methodologies honed over the course of hundreds of previous examinations. Neither company found problems with the tabulators. Their reports are available online.
We also had the benefit of the eight court cases challenging Maricopa County’s election administration. None of those eight cases found any widespread inaccuracy, fraud, or wrongdoing. Only two were dismissed for lack of standing.
Armed with these facts and professional assessments, I made the only reasonable conclusion I could make: Maricopa County accurately tabulated the November 3 ballots.
But the Arizona Senate didn’t feel comfortable with that conclusion and is now conducting its own audit. For an unknown reason, Maricopa County is the only county of Arizona’s 15 counties being audited, and only the top two contests on the ballot — the presidential, in which Joe Biden (D) defeated incumbent Donald Trump (R).
At least one professional, widely known, certified elections company (Clear Ballot) applied to do the Senate’s audit. The Senate rejected that official bid.
The Senate has not provided any details on its selection process and ultimately chose a company that did not formally apply. That company is Cyber Ninjas — a tiny cybersecurity company from Sarasota, Fla. This is the first election audit ever run by Cyber Ninjas. ___You did not read that wrong: Before being handed the lead position in maybe the most consequential post-election audit ever, Cyber Ninjas had run zero election audits.
Understandably, nobody in the elections community had ever heard of Cyber Ninjas. Neither Christian Ziegler, vice chairman of the Republican Party of Florida — where the Cyber Ninjas are from — nor Representative Vern Buchanan, whose election in 2006 caused changes to Florida election law, had previously heard of, or worked with, Cyber Ninjas. That’s right: The state that gave America the hanging chad had never heard of Cyber Ninjas.
Even more troubling than the lack of any election-audit experience are the publicly stated beliefs of Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan.
Logan has indulged the wildest election conspiracy theories, including the one that deceased Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez somehow had a hand in rigging America’s elections. Perhaps because of the malignant influence of Chavez, Logan had already concluded, prior to even starting the audit, that the nation’s elections were fraudulent (“I’m tired of hearing people say there was no fraud. It happened, it’s real, and people better get wise fast,” read a tweet he once retweeted).
He also authored a report called “Election Fraud Facts & Details” for conspiracy-theorist-in-chief Sidney Powell, who has started singing a very different tune since getting sued by Dominion for defamation.
The resulting audit is about what you’d expect. The auditors spent days using UV lights looking for watermarks as a result of a popular QAnon theory about the election (Maricopa County’s ballots don’t have watermarks), and they’re still examining the paper ballots for traces of bamboo fibers to prove that the ballots were fraudulently flown in from China (our ballots are printed in none other than Arizona).
The volunteer workers of the audit are recruited mostly from Republican Party sources, including a former Arizona Republican Party chairman and a former Republican state legislator who was on the November 3 ballot and also at the January 6 rally at the Capitol.
Just how Republican-heavy the workforce is has not been disclosed. There is no documented process for vetting audit workers, but that component is now being managed by Patrick Byrne, another election conspiracy theorist and friend of Sidney Powell.
The methodology is no better. It’s a slipshod process that would never be used by professional election auditors and which has earned the widespread ridicule of election officials.
Cyber Ninjas even committed the rookie mistake of having a blue pen (which can be used to mark ballots) in the ballot-counting area.
The company only learned of this faux-pas when an on-site journalist expressed concern (and journalists have not been allowed at all parts of the audit). The subcontractor who set up the recount process recently decided to walk off the job after having only completed one-fourth of the ballots.
The hand count was originally set to finish in mid May, but despite having tables that rotate ballots at a whiplash speed and likely faster than volunteers can count, the count is still ongoing.
That’s your audit. Are you still comfortable?
Perhaps I could have celebrated another confidence-boosting audit if it had been run by a professional elections firm like Clear Ballot. Or else a top-notch auditor like Deloitte.

A contractor hired by the Arizona Senate is reviewing Maricopa County's 2020 election data from an undisclosed location in Montana, with no oversight from state or county officials.
Ben Cotton, founder of tech firm CyFIR, a Senate subcontractor, made copies of the county’s election server and other election data and then drove the copies to a “secure lab” in Montana, according to Senate liaison Ken Bennett.
That lab is a cabin. One thing the Arizona Republic article makes clear is that nothing is clear: What kind of information is there? Why is it there? When is it coming back? Who has access to it? What safeguards are in place to protect it? Just what the holy friggin’ hell is going on? What couldn’t be done here? Either the Senate doesn’t know or they, Cyber Ninjas, and Ben Cotton aren’t saying.
The public wouldn’t know any of this except that an observer for the Secretary of State’s Office heard a rumor and asked the question. Spokesperson Bennett confirmed the Montana story but provided no details. Shit’s gotta stop.

Chaos at Arizona audit: OAN host snapped at local reporter in profane confrontation. What happened?.
One America News host Christina Bobb snapped at an Arizona Republic reporter last week while both were covering the GOP-backed Maricopa County 2020 election audit in Phoenix, Arizona.
The conservative network host and Trump team ally swore at Jen Fifield during a confrontation in Veterans Memorial Coliseum after Fifield asked her a question, prompting an outpouring of online support for the newspaper journalist.
Fifield told Salon that the dust-up stemmed from a press gaggle earlier in the day with pro-Trump activist Vernon Jones, for which Bobb was also present.
At the Q&A session, Fifield asked Jones if he would support a Democrat-led and fundraised audit, and Jones dismissed a question from Fifield regarding Republicans fundraising for the audit as fake news. Bobb — a fundraising force for the ongoing, baseless Trump ballot hunt — remained silent during the exchange.
Following the Jones gaggle, Fifield approached Bobb and asked, "Why didn't you say anything?" regarding the OAN host's own participation in GOP fundraising efforts.
"Go talk to your peers who do this to me every f**king day. I don't care," Bobb fired back.
That clash caught the ire of other journalists on Twitter, who defended Fifield and criticized Bobb's breach of professional behavior.
In addition to her work with OAN, Bobb, a former Trump administration official, also leads a group called Voices and Votes, as Salon's Jon Skolnik writes, which raises money to support the audit:
Back in April, Bobb tweeted that Voices for Votes had set out to pump $150,000 into the recount effort in Arizona. Bobb told Buzzfeed that the dark money group is in no way connected to the news network, though the network and Bobb herself have repeatedly bandied false claims of election fraud.
Bobb has not only raised funds to support the Arizona audit, the OAN "Weekly Briefing" host has also reportedly passed information to the Republican Arizona Senate president to help advance GOP interests.
"Audit-related documents requested and published by The Center for Public Integrity and We Are Oversight showed that Christina Bobb ... was supplying Arizona Senate President Karen Fann with witness declarations, statements, and expert testimony in early December to help bolster the Republican-led effort to undermine the election results in Maricopa County, where President Joe Biden beat former President Donald Trump by 45,000 votes," Business Insider reported earlier this month.
Bobb has not hidden her fundraising activity. In early April, she wrote on Twitter: "This audit is crucial to know the truth about 2020. $5, $10, $20 will help the AZ senate finally complete the audit. Donate today! And thank you for fighting with us!"
When asked if Fifield thinks there's now bad blood between her and Bobb, the newspaper reporter believes it's possibly nothing more than a "misunderstanding."
"I think she misunderstood me as asking her to stand up for me. I think that's what happened," the Arizona Republic reporter told Salon. "I wish that exchange didn't go the way that it did."
Arizona Republic staffers took to Twitter in a show of support for their fellow journalist in the field.
Rebekah Sanders, a fellow Arizona Republic reporter and chair of the Arizona Republic Guild said she stands by Fifield.
"Jen Fifield is one of the nicest, most polite, and most ethical journalists you will ever meet. She also is no pushover. She asks reasonable questions until she finds the truth. Anyone who can't handle that must have something to hide," Sanders told Salon.
"No journalist deserves to be abused, cussed out, or threatened for doing their job. Our democracy is in debt to every local reporter providing accurate information about efforts to influence free and fair elections. It's disturbing and foreboding for our country's freedom that attacks on legitimate journalists are escalating and even celebrated among a small group of people."
The Arizona Republic Guild also told Salon that the harassment Fifield faced is "unacceptable."
"Jen is a dogged and well-respected journalist who has done an incredible job keeping the public informed about issues at the heart of our democracy," the Arizona Republic Guild stated. "She should not be attacked for doing her job. Nor should she apologize. We stand with Jen and all our reporters who seek to report the truth equitably and honestly." |

'Shut down the circus': Wisconsin paper decries Trump's voter fraud conspiracies as even key GOP figure distances himself.
On Wednesday, the Wisconsin State Journal Editorial Board tore into former President Donald Trump's ongoing conspiracy theories about the presidential election in an editorial demanding the GOP "shut down the circus" of Arizona's partisan "audit" and noted that even one of the most powerful Republicans in the state has started to run away from the nonsense.
"Gullible Trump believers have spread the conspiracy theory that tens of thousands of ballots from China were dumped into Arizona's vote total so President Joe Biden could win," noted the board. "Despite no evidence to support the wild accusation, Arizona has gone on a state-sanctioned search for bamboo fibers in the paper of ballots in Maricopa County, where most Arizona voters live."
Even Wisconsin House Speaker Robin Vos, a Far-Right Trump ally who hired former police officers to help investigate election conspiracy theories, is starting to back away from this, noted the board.
"Rep. Dave Murphy of Greenville, one of four GOP lawmakers who made the trip to Phoenix, is so deep into Trump deception that last week he criticized his own Assembly leader for his skepticism. Murphy called Speaker Robin Vos, R-Rochester, 'foolish' for joking about" the Arizona China theory, the board wrote.
"The Arizona audit — appropriately dubbed a 'fraudit' on social media — won't be completed until later this summer by Cyber Ninjas, an unqualified and provocatively named company whose top executive is a Trump supporter."
Some Republicans have been pushing to do similar audits in other states that President Joe Biden carried narrowly — but now the whole thing has become an embarrassment.
"Instead of traveling to Arizona and trying to bring its ginned-up political drama to Wisconsin, Murphy ... and the others should focus on the real challenges facing Wisconsin citizens, such as the dire workforce shortage, looming evictions, rising gun violence and polluted waterways," concluded the board. "Murphy and his pals should focus on Wisconsin's future, not Trump's tired past." |

Leader of Arizona 'audit' stars in conspiracy theory film claiming the CIA stole the election from Trump Screen cap The man who's leading the "audit" of the 2020 election in Arizona appears in a new conspiracy theory film claiming that the CIA helped steal the election from former President Donald Trump.
The Daily Beast's Will Sommer reports that Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan is featured prominently in a conspiracy theory movie called "The Deep Rig," despite the fact that he's running what is a purportedly objective "audit" of the vote in Arizona.
"For much of The Deep Rig, Logan's identity is obscured through blurring and a voice modulator, identified only as 'Anon' as he argues that the CIA was behind 'disinformation' around the election," reports Sommer.
"Towards the end of the film, however, Logan's identity is revealed. The crowd of a couple hundred people at the premiere at Phoenix's Dream City Church exploded in applause when Logan was revealed as the conspiratorial 'Anon.'"
Chris Matthews predicts Kevin McCarthy will be the Speaker of The House. In addition to Logan, the movie also features activist Joe Oltmann, who claims that he learned about the election being rigged when he infiltrated an Antifa conference call.

GOP audit forces Arizona county to replace all machines compromised by Cyber Ninjas: report.
The controversial Arizona audit of the 2020 election in Maricopa County is forcing the state's largest jurisdiction to replace voting equipment before the November, 2021 election.
"The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors informed Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs that any equipment that was handed over for the State Senate's audit of the 2020 General Election will not be used in future elections," ABC 15 reports.
In May, Hobbs had written to express her concerns that the legitimacy of the machines had been compromised.
"I have grave concerns regarding the security and integrity of these machines, given the chain of custody, a critical security tenet, has been compromised and election officials do not know what was done to the machines while under Cyber Ninjas' control."
In responding to Hobbs, Maricopa County said, "The Board shares your concerns."
It is not known how much it will cost the county to replace the machines. |
