'Arm up and get guns': Lara Trump warns people may have to 'start taking matters into their own hands'.

Despite violent rhetoric from her family inciting the January 6th insurrection, Lara Trump suggested vigilante violence against people perceived to be from south of the southern border during a Saturday night appearance with Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro.

The former president's daughter-in-law suggested residents of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California should arm themselves and prepare for violence.

"And I don't know what you tell the people that live at the southern border," she said.

Lara Trump could be facing 20 years in prison for inciting vigilante violence on Fox News: report/

Lara Trump could be in legal jeopardy after suggesting vigilante violence while being interviewed by Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro.

Trump said residents of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California may need engage in extra-legal violence against people perceived to be immigrants from south of the border.

"And I don't know what you tell the people that live at the southern border," she said. "I guess they better arm up and get guns and be ready — and maybe they're going to have to start taking matters into their own hands."

Fred Wellman, suggested the former president's daughter in-law may have committed a federal crime.

Wellman cited "18 U.S. Code § 373 - Solicitation to commit a crime of violence"
which allows prison sentences of up to 20 years for, "Whoever, with intent that another person engage in conduct constituting a felony that has as an element the use, attempted use,
or threatened use of physical force against property or against the person of another in violation of the laws of the United States, and under circumstances strongly corroborative of that intent, solicits, commands, induces, or otherwise endeavors to persuade such other person to engage in such conduct..."

Biden destroys right-wing militia talk that guns are necessary to take on the government: 'You'll need nukes'.

Speaking about the dramatic increase in mass shootings (as many as ten in a weekend), President Joe Biden questioned pro-gun groups who claim that the Second Amendment is necessary "to take on the government."

According to many pro-gun groups, the Second Amendment protects the right to have weapons of war in order to "form a well-regulated militia."

The only reason to form a militia would be to take on the government, as a well-regulated militia exists as the U.S. Military.

According to Biden though, the argument is absurd because guns won't work in standing up to the United States government.

"If you think you need weapons to take on the government, then you need F15s and maybe some nuclear weapons," said Biden.
"The point is there has always been the ability to rationally limit the type of weapon that can be owned, and who can own it."

Bomb-making materials aren't necessarily illegal, but after the Oklahoma City bombing, the FBI and ATF keep a pretty close eye on people buying large amounts of chemicals or fertilizer to make such materials.
