She wants to know if more trees grow in white neighborhoods or black neighborhoods. Tough question since half of the houses have been razedin black neighborhood from fires and neglect.
What she’s trying to say is that black neighborhoods have fewer trees than white neighborhoods. Trying to imply you can track the demographics of a neighborhood by how mant trees are there.
