Georgia election officials thoroughly debunk Trump's lies about 50,000 'dead 'voters.
Election investigators in Georgia have officially debunked Donald Trump's claims about ballots cast for dead voters.
The twice-impeached one-term president has claimed thousands of ballots were cast in the names of dead voters in the state, but election officials found only four such cases and referred them attorney general’s office for possible prosecution, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“Remorse is something we hear a lot, and it’s something I appreciate because sometimes we do make these mistakes unknowingly,” said Anh Le, a member of the State Election Board. “However, the law is what it is.”
In one case, a 74-year-old widow returned an absentee ballot for her husband, who had intended to vote Republican before he died in September 2020, but told investigators she regrets the decision.
“She received the absentee ballot and carried out his wishes," said attorney Barry Bishop, who represents Sharon Nelson of Canton. "She now realizes that was not the thing to do.”
Another woman, Alline Rowe, appears to have submitted an absentee ballot on behalf of her late son, who was from Augusta, before she herself died in October 2020.
A third woman, Sherry Cook of Trenton, allegedly returned an absentee ballot for her late husband, who had died several months before the election.
Glynda Jackson, the widow of Herman Robert Jackson of Covington, told investigators she filled out her husband's ballot because she knew how he intended to vote.
Investigators determined that the widow of James Blalock of Covington, which was cited by the Trump campaign as evidence of fraud, cast a vote for herself and not her husband, who had died in 2006.
"What I tell people is what really happened in Georgia, because we proved that none of that was what happened,” said secretary of state Brad Raffensperger.
The The State Election Board has the authority to levy fines of between $100 and $5,000 per violation if the state attorney proves the allegations.

| Subject: Georgia Review Found Just Four Deceased Voters' Ballots Thu Dec 30, 2021 12:07 am | |
| 12-29-2021
Georgia review found just four deceased voters' ballots cast in 2020 ele.
lection investigators in Georgia found just four absentee ballots that had been cast in the 2020 election on behalf of voters who had died, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) said on Monday.
The finding further undermines former President Trump’s baseless claim that__ ballots from 5,000 deceased voters were cast___ in the 2020 election in Georgia and contributed to his loss in the state.
Investigators reviewed dozens of allegations that dead people had voted in the election. By the end of the review, they had uncovered only four such instances. In each case, relatives of the deceased had cast the ballot.
The Georgia State Election Board has referred those cases to the state attorney general’s office, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
Trump has claimed for more than a year that widespread voter fraud and systemic malfeasance in a handful of states, including Georgia, cost him reelection in 2020. Multiple election audits and reviews have debunked those claims.
Raffensperger, a Republican who has been targeted for criticism by Trump for refusing to help overturn President Biden’s 2020 victory in Georgia, touted the findings of the investigation as further evidence that his state’s elections were securely run.
He noted that, despite Trump’s claims, no evidence has surfaced that the former president was robbed of victory, noting that the four cases of dead people voting is far from enough to reverse Trump’s roughly 12,000-vote margin of defeat in Georgia.
“The State Election Board sent a total of 4 cases of dead voters in November 2020 to the Attorney General. There has yet to be proof of enough fraud to overturn the 2020 elections. We need to look forward, not waste time relitigating the past.”

‘Seems strange’: Judge baffled during contempt proceeding for Wisconsin GOP’s audit
The lack of record-keeping by those in charge of the Wisconsin GOP's investigations into election fraud is causing problems.
"A judge expressed bafflement Thursday that Assembly Speaker Robin Vos had turned over so few documents about a Republican review of the 2020 election," the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Thursday. "She said she didn't understand how Vos could have found so few documents for a review of the election that has lasted months, has a taxpayer-funded budget of $676,000 and has included travel to Arizona. The election review is being conducted by former state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman."
Judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn held the hearing after the liberal group American Oversight petitioned the court to hold Vos in contempt for failing to comply with open records law.
"Does he not have any itinerary and did he not have any work product for what he did out in Arizona while he was there?" the judge asked. "It seems strange to me that this could be going on for three months (as of August) with I think one if not more attorneys working on this and they did nothing. They provided nothing? They don't even have a copy of the receipt showing that they paid for their plane tickets?"
American Oversight says there's smoking gun proof that Vos failed to respond to its document request.
"Vos attorney Ronald Stadler said Vos' team searched the records of Vos and Gableman and turned over everything it found that was responsive to American Oversight's requests. American Oversight attorney Christa Westerberg questioned that claim, noting Gableman in response to a separate records request had turned over an email that Vos also should have produced. Stadler said he didn't know why that email had not been found by Vos' team," the newspaper reported.
While Vos is facing scrutiny over whether he's keeping Wisconsin citizens appraised of his actions, he traveled to Alabama in August to personally brief Trump.
"This past weekend, it was an honor to be invited to travel by private plane with President Trump and top staff to attend his rally in Alabama. I provided him details about our robust efforts in Wisconsin to restore full integrity and trust in elections," Vos posted to Facebook. "I explained to President Trump about the current forensic audit we are performing and told him we will do whatever it takes to help Justice Gableman also uncover reports of systematic fraud."
In the opening moments of his rally speech, Trump repeated his lie of a "rigged election" and said denied being the one undermining democracy during a 90-minute rant.
A hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 24. American Bridge is asking the judge to fine Vos $2,000 per day until he complies.

| Georgia Opens Investigation Into Possible Illegal Ballot Harvesting In 2020 Election Martin Walsh, January 5, 2022
Georgia authorities have opened an investigation into allegations of systematic ballot harvesting during the state’s 2020 general election and subsequent U.S. Senate runoff.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger told Just The News that officials could soon secure subpoenas.
“Georgia law strictly prohibits third-party activists from picking up and delivering ballots on behalf of voters, a tactic called “harvesting” that liberal organizers have tried to get legalized in many battleground states without success. The U.S. Supreme Court this summer rejected Democrat efforts to overturn an Arizona law that outlawed harvesting in the battleground state,” Just The News reported.
“Raffensperger, who is seeking reelection in 2022, led a successful effort in 2019 to strengthen Georgia’s prohibition against harvesting ahead of the 2020 presidential election and defeated an effort by prominent Democrat lawyer Marc Elias to overturn the harvesting ban. Raffensperger also reviewed and rejected claims by former President Donald Trump of widespread fraud during the 2020 election in a series of contracts under investigation by a local district attorney in Atlanta and the Jan. 6 select committee in Congress,” the outlet reported.
The report continued:
According to interviews and documents reviewed by Just the News, Raffensperger’s office received a detailed complaint from conservative voter integrity group True the Vote on Nov. 30 saying it had assembled evidence that scores of activists worked with nonprofit groups to collect and deliver thousands of absentee ballots, often during wee-hour operations, to temporary voting drop boxes distributed around the state during the pandemic.
The group informed the secretary its evidence included video footage from surveillance cameras placed by counties outside the drop boxes as well as geolocation data for the cell phones of more than 200 activists seen on the tapes purportedly showing the dates and times of ballot drop-offs, according to documents reviewed by Just the News.
The group also said it interviewed a Georgia man who admitted he was paid thousands of dollars to harvest ballots in the Atlanta metropolitan area during the November election and the lead-up to Jan. 5, 2021 runoff for Georgia’s two U.S. Senate seats, which were both captured by Democrats and ended GOP control of Congress. The group has yet to identify the cooperating witness to state authorities, referring to him in the complaint simply as John Doe.
Raffensperger told Just The News that his office has deemed the allegations credible enough to open an investigation and possibly seek subpoenas from the State Election Board to secure evidence.
“We do have some information,” Raffensperger said. “And we are going to investigate that. We did deploy drop boxes that were under 24/7 surveillance, and because they were then that really, you know, can indicate who dropped that information off, and we’re really just going through that.”
Raffensperger conceded the allegation that a specific individual engaged in illegal harvesting warrants investigation.
“If people give us, you know, credible allegations, we want to make sure that we do that,” Raffensperger told Just the News. “And we have that right now as an ongoing investigation.”
“That will be one of the processes we’re looking at if we have people that don’t want to come forward for whatever concern because we really need to get to the bottom of it,” he said during the interview. “We just can’t let it sit there and lie. So if it comes to that, then that’s probably the next step that we’d be looking at.”

| Georgia Voting Bungled: Hand Recount Drops Democrat Winner to 3rd Place Jon Dougherty, June 3, 2022 A shocking new report lays bare the anxiety many voters continue to feel about ballot integrity following the 2020 elections.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Democratic primary for a county in Georgia has been called into question after a hand count revealed that voting machines were off by thousands of ballots.
Democratic DeKalb County School Board member Marshall Orson, who is running for the county commission, asked the local election board on Thursday not to certify results as it was scheduled to do because of “numerous errors” with the local race, the paper noted.
Instead, he requested an “independent review” as well as a formal recount of the election in a letter to the board.
“There is no rational basis for believing that there are not continuing issues with the results and the results should not be certified with the continuing existence of multiple substantive issues and concerns,” Orson wrote. “Doing so would pose a substantial risk not only to the confidence the public will have in the overall election results from this race but could extend to the entire primary as well as the general election.”
Just the News adds:
The initial Democratic primary results showed Orson winning for commission District 2 with Lauren Alexander in second place and Michelle Long Spears in third. This would have put Orson against Alexander in a runoff election.
However, Spears noticed that the results showed she received zero votes at most election precincts.
The secretary of state’s office admitted late last month to making several programing mistakes in the ballot equipment that affected the final tally.
There was an attempted re-scan of the ballots in District 2, but ultimately a hand count was conducted, concluding around midnight on Memorial Day.
Wednesday evening, the results of a hand count were published, which showed that Spears, the last-place candidate, is now in first place and is heading for a June 21 runoff election against Alexander. Former first-place finisher Orson, meanwhile, was pushed down to third place.
Spears managed to gain about 2,600 votes from the original matching count, and Alexander managed to collect a few hundred more as well, according to the Journal-Constitution. But Orson lost some 1,600 votes from the original vote tally.
Reports noted that the Dekalb County Election Board is scheduled to certify the results Friday afternoon.
Georgia has been one of a handful of states experiencing significant election controversies beginning with the 2020 elections.
For instance, “a complaint filed in April to the Georgia State Election Board claims that more than 300,000 ballots in the 2020 election were unreliably recorded in state’s largest county of Fulton,” Just the News reported.
In March, a ballot harvesting investigation launched by Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s (R) office also moved forward after the state’s election board approved a sought-after subpoena following allegations stemming from the 2020 election.
The subpoena allowed Raffensperger’s office to begin gathering evidence and testimony into what has been an ongoing probe regarding whether third-party liberal activists illegally collected thousands of absentee ballots in the general election in November as well as a subsequent run-off election that wound up determining Democratic control of the U.S. Senate, Just the News reported, adding:
The vote was a major win for Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who announced the investigation into alleged ballot harvesting in January and was seeking the subpoena authority to assist the probe.
The subpoena power will allow Raffensperger’s team to secure evidence about a whistleblower who alleged to an election integrity group that he participated in a large operation to gather ballots in which activists were paid $10 for each ballot they delivered.
Georgia law expressly prohibits third parties from collecting, gathering, or delivering absentee ballots, except in the case of immediate relatives.
“A vote on whether to issue the subpoena had been delayed several weeks because the Elections Board could not determine who would be its new chairperson. However, the board unanimously chose member Matthew Mashburn last week during a meeting to serve as interim chairman. Afterward, the board voted in favor of the subpoena during a closed-door session,” Just the News reported. |

The Voting System was Tampered With In Georgia And Raffensperger Covered It Up.
The voting system has been tampered with.
A group of MAGA insiders traveled the country and successfully (and illegally) copied the hard drives for the voting system in Georgia… and how the GOP in Georgia is covering it up. They or the hackers they might employ either here or in countries like Russia could now be finding vulnerabilities and planning for hacks of the 2022 and 2024 elections.
Text messages reveal a secret mission from a local GOP county chair— and fake elector for Donald Trump—to examine an elections computer
Chaney, the elections board member, received word that the county GOP chair was on the phone with an Atlanta businessman who wanted access to the voting system computers there.
The next morning, the operation was underway. Text messages show that a group of five people traveled south from Atlanta to the government elections offices in Douglas.
The operation continued for hours. At 3:48 p.m., Hampton updated the GOP chair.
“Going great so far,” she texted Latham.
Coffee County has deleted all emails of their election officials from that period, and improperly gave Secretary Raffensperger’s office all of their 2020 electronic election records_ wiping the county clean of evidence of what occurred.
The concern now, cybersecurity experts said, is___ *that conspiracy-driven vigilantes now have unfettered access to a copy of Georgia’s voting software.
The obvious worry is that these teams might find vulnerabilities and share them with hackers who can actually exploit them… their sloppy computer work will itself plant evidence of tampering that fuels the Big Lie.
When they do these copies they leave—as they did in Mesa County—evidence that this computer has been tampered with,” said Hursti, the Finnish computer programmer. “So now there is a claim this server was tampered with when it was actually the Stop the Steal people!”
So Trump is right. The Georgia voting system was hacked… by HIS goon squad.

Emails reveal that fake Trump electors in Georgia were told not to tell anyone what they were doing.
There were several states that attempted to replace the electors chosen by voters in the 2020 election.
It was part of a plot by former President Donald Trump's campaign and legal team to somehow overthrow the election simply by having supporters push their way into the rooms where the electors were.
States like Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Georgia were all working to beat back against Democratic electors and stop Trump from being thrown out of the White House.
The Washington Post revealed that little-known fake Georgia electors were revealed in a series of emails that have now been made public. A staffer from the Trump campaign told Republicans on Dec. 13, 2020, that if they intend to overthrow the election count they must do so in "complete secrecy."
“I must ask for your complete discretion in this process,” wrote Robert Sinners, (his real name) who served as the Trump campaign’s election operations director in Georgia. The note came the day before the electors were scheduled to meet at the Georgia Capitol to certify the election results.
“Your duties are imperative to ensure the end result — a win in Georgia for President Trump — but will be hampered unless we have complete secrecy and discretion," Sinners said. “Please, at no point should you mention anything to do with Presidential Electors or speak to the media." The email marked that line in bold.
"The admonishments suggest that those who carried out the fake elector plan were concerned that, had the gathering become public before Republicans could follow through on casting their votes, the effort could have been disrupted," said the report.
"Georgia law requires that electors fulfill their duties at the State Capitol. On Dec. 14, 2020, protesters for and against the two presidential candidates had gathered on the Capitol grounds."
Sinners said in a statement that he was just following orders from senior campaign officials and the Georgia Republican Party chair, David Shafer, who was an elector for Trump.
“I was advised by attorneys that this was necessary in order to preserve the pending legal challenge,” he said. “Following the Former President’s refusal to accept the results of the election and allow a peaceful transition of power, my views on this matter have changed significantly from where they were on December 13th,” said Sinners.
