Ford cutting 3,000 white-collar jobs
About 3,000 white-collar workers at Ford Motor Co. will lose their jobs as the company cuts costs to help make the long transition from internal combustion vehicles to those powered by batteries.
"As we continue to deliver our Ford+ plan for growth and value creation, we are working to address all aspects of costs to improve our competitiveness and ensure we can fully invest in growth," Ford said in a statement.
Leaders of the Dearborn, Michigan, automaker made the announcement Monday in a companywide email, saying that 2,000 full-time salaried workers would be let go along with another 1,000 contract workers.
The salaried worker cuts are about 6% of the company's workforce in the U.S. and Canada.

I have my computer hooked up to a tv set and the resolution is set at 1360 x 768 which really doesn't seem all that large in this day and age and I never have to use scrollbars to see the full image. Maybe he's on a phone or something.

My resolution is 1920 by 1080 on a 14 inch screen.
I'll usually resize pics to 600 pixels if they show up too big on my monitor.
It's possible Temple is using a Viewmaster when surfing the net, which is why he continually uses size 16 for a text size.

Temple hasn't been able to look into a ViewMaster since that 'little incident'...

I usually resize the pictures to 600.. And- I will use curt + and - ..
I like bigger print size-- for no particular reason, I just like it.. The Tablet n phone is quite small print but on pc I just like the ease of big, it's is cool. A picture size of 600 is very good no matter what size screen.. Is there anything else I can clear up for you??
I have 17'' screen on this pc.. and a 21'' and a 14'' . I have a 70'' TV, too big for the internet-- But- some posted pictures herein are like 1200 big.. And don't knock my size 16, it's awesome. aahh perhaps I should bold it, hhhmmm I'll ponder on that.

My first computer was an Atari 400 with the cassette storage unit. Which was cool because Foothill College used to broadcast programs over the air, you would put in a blank tape, record the program, then pop the tape into the computer and run it. Learned a lot on that machine, I had a BASIC cartridge, an Assember Editor and even found a small C compiler for it.
I remember playing this game on it back in 1982, it blew us away at the time -

I remember standing in line at the mall to play Pong back in 1975. It was the first video game you could play in arcades and bars but the first video game ever was Tennis For Two developed in 1958 -
