Whatever their definition of "child" is.. I (myself) consider a child to be pre-teen..younger than 13.. Regardless of that.. Probably 99% of teenagers still live at home with their parents...supported by, under the care and supervision, and the parents are still responsible for them .. So parents should have 100% say-so in how their son or daughter is raised.. Teachers and especially *lawmakers* should have no business and no rights to intrude on or override parents when it comes to their kids
They're not just talking about recomending them for counciling or WTF ever.. They wanna make it *illegal* for parents to prevent their kids from making profound, permanent, irreversible, life altering decisions that include medical, even surgical changes to themselves ..
Aghh .. No point goin' on about it .. They want government to take control of kids and take it away from parents.. "Overstepping" is a severe understatement

Elizabeth Guzman is planning to introduce a bill that would criminally penalize parents who refuse to affirm their child’s sexual identity confusion, and who instead treat their children according to their biological sex.
The legislation would expand the definition of child abuse so that parents could be charged with a felony or misdemeanor for refusing to honor their child’s request to be treated as the opposite sex.
The bill would define that under Virginia law, an “abused or neglected child” means any child under the age of 18 years old “whose parent or other person responsible for his care creates or inflicts, threatens to create or inflict, or allows to be created or inflicted upon such child a physical or mental injury on the basis of the child’s gender identity or sexual orientation”.
Guzman, who serves as a delegate to the Virginia House of Delegates, told 7News that if her bill became law, the state (VA) would investigate parents who refuse to affirm their children’s sexual identity confusion.

Well they'll only get arrested if they try to intervene or prevent the kids from changing genders... Some parents actually 'goad' their kids into it
..It's one thing to dress up and mentally* change genders ..but they're giving kids shit to physically change them..puberty blockers, testosterone, other hormone chaning crap ..then they're still miserable and still not the opposite sex so they have surgeries .. Greedy doctors happy to do them .. Parents will be labeled anti-LGBTQ and possibly arrested if they try to intervene... CPS gets involved..sheesh!..FBI going after parents for shit they say at school board meetings... It's all very "progressive"..SMH

So to minimize the issue, Temple seems to think it's unimportant because it's only in Virginia ... This is happening all over the country.. In Europe too.. Now some woke foreigner who somehow became a *lawmaker* wants to make it a law for CPS and the state to get involved and arrest the parents if they object to their child being sexualized and coaxed into sex changing chemicals and operations
...So it's not passed into law .. The mere notion of a proposed bill is absurd to most (normal) people .. This is the left ..the direction they're heading...and there are far too many degenerates happily following along
