Transgender Pup Fetishist DOE Official Charged With Stealing Woman’s Luggage at Minneapolis Airport

Sam Brinton, the transgender “pup” fetishist who was tapped by Joe Biden in February to be the deputy assistant secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Energy Department’s Office of Nuclear Energy, is on leave and facing five years in prison after being charged with the felony theft of a woman’s designer suitcase.

According to a criminal complaint filed obtained by Alpha News, Brinton allegedly stole a navy blue Vera Bradley roller bag worth $2,325 from the luggage carousel at the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport (MSP) on Sept. 16.

After the suitcase’s owner alerted police, detectives reviewed video surveillance footage from the baggage claim area that showed Brinton taking the bag from the carousel, according to the complaint.

The video footage allegedly shows Brinton removing the luggage tag identifying the owner of the bag and putting it in his purse. He “then left the area at a quick pace,” the complaint says. According to law enforcement, Brinton had no reason to be in the baggage claim area, as he had not checked a bag before boarding his flight from Washington, D.C.

According to law enforcement, Brinton continued to use the luggage at least two more times during subsequent trips to Washington, D.C. on Sept. 18 and Oct. 9.

When an officer called Brinton to question him about the incident, the transvestite initially denied that he stole it, but did confirm that it was still in his possession.

“If I had taken the wrong bag, I am happy to return it, but I don’t have any clothes for another individual,” Brinton told the officer, according to the complaint. “That was my clothes when I opened the bag.”

Two hours later, Brinton called the officer back with a different story, and apologized for not being “completely honest,” Fox News Digital reported.

“DEFENDANT said when they opened the bag at the hotel, they realized it was not theirs,” the court filings stated. “DEFENDANT got nervous people would think they stole the bag and did not know what to do. DEFENDANT stated they left the clothes from the bag inside the drawers in the hotel room.”

Brinton told police he took the suitcase because he was “tired” and thought it was his, according to the complaint. He said he brought the bag back to Washington D.C. because it would have been “weirder” to leave a bag in the hotel room, police said. Detectives also noted that no clothing was ever recovered from the hotel room drawers.

Brinton was told to return the luggage to Delta, but as of Oct. 27 the victim still had not received her bag back, according to the complaint.

The LGBTQ+ activist was charged with felony theft of a movable property without consent, and is facing a five-year sentence, $10,000 fine or both.

As American Greatness reported in February, Brinton is a member of sacrilegious drag queen society called the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” where he is known as “Sister Ray Dee O’ Active.”

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a 501(c)3 tax-deductible non-profit charity recognized by the IRS, has mocked the Catholic Church for decades with members adopting names such as: “Sister Porn Again; Sister Chastity Boner; Sister Sister Edith Myflesh; Sister Roz Erection; Sister Constance Craving of the Holey Desire; and Sister Risqué of the Sissytine Chapel.”

In an eye-opening interview in Metro Weekly titled “Puppy Love” in January of 2016, Brinton talked about how he likes to roleplay as a “pup handler.”

“I actually have trouble when we transition from pup play to having sex,” Brinton told the paper.

In July, an article from a gay website was unearthed by the National Pulse revealing that Brinton had once defended a criminal gay prostitution website after it was raided and shut down by NYPD and DHS investigators for allegedly allowing underage sex trafficking.

The Biden official’s first court hearing is scheduled for Dec. 19 in Hennepin County.

Sam Brinton, the Biden Regime’s nonbinary “nuclear waste guru” who allegedly stole a woman’s suitcase from the Minneapolis Airport, is now accused of stealing luggage from yet another airport.

A felony warrant was issued for Brinton after he allegedly stole luggage from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, according to 8 News Now.

Brinton, the deputy assistant secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Energy Department’s Office of Nuclear Energy, was reportedly placed on leave over the summer. The role-playing “pup handler” is being charged in this latest offense with grand larceny of items with a value between $1,200 and $5,000, records showed.



In October, Brinton was charged with felony theft of a movable property without consent, after he allegedly stole a navy blue Vera Bradly roller bag worth $2,325 from the luggage carousel at the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport (MSP).

He is facing a five-year jail sentence, a $10,000 fine or both for that alleged crime.

It is currently not known if the alleged suitcase thief is still being paid, or whether he still has his security clearance, as the Department of Energy (DOE) refuses to answer media inquiries.

On November 20, however, the Department of Energy (DOE) Twitter account made a point of tweeting its support of the “trans and gender-nonconforming individuals” who “are part of the DOE family.” Brinton retweeted the DOE’s message.



On Twitter, Brinton still has a pinned tweet posted of his announcement in June that he had officially started serving as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Biden administration.



After his felony theft charge in Minneapolis made headlines earlier this month, LGBTQ Nation published a report casting doubt on Brinton’s dubious claims of being a

This week, a group of House Republicans called for Brinton to step down over the Minneapolis allegations.

On Tuesday, R​ep. ​Andrew Clyde of Georgia and 15 other Republicans sent a letter to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm demanding that Brinton be removed from the department.

“We demand the resignation of Sam Brinton, and we implore you to set aside petty politics and appoint only the most qualified and dedicated individuals to influence America’s energy sector​,” the GOP lawmakers wrote.

A controversial figure in the Biden administration is reportedly out of the job after being accused of stealing luggage in two separate incidents.

The Department of Energy is no longer employing Sam Brinton, who claims he is non-binary, after he was accused of stealing luggage in Las Vegas and Minneapolis.

“Sam Brinton is no longer a DOE employee,” a Department of Energy said in a statement. “By law, the Department of Energy cannot comment further on personnel matters.”

An arrest warrant was issued for Brinton late last week for grand larceny with a value between $1,200 and $5,000 for allegedly stealing luggage from Harry Reid International Airport.

Investigators said that “a white male adult wearing a white T-shirt with a large rainbow colored atomic nuclear symbol design” was seen on security camera footage taking the woman’s bag before leaving the airport.

“Brinton demonstrated several signs of abnormal behavior while taking the victim’s luggage which are cues suspects typically give off when committing luggage theft,” investigators in Las Vegas wrote in their report. “Specifically, Brinton pulled the victim’s luggage from the carousel and examined the tag.”

“Then placing it back on the carousel, looking in all directions for anyone who might be watching, or might approach,” the report continued. “Pulling it back off the carousel and demonstrating the same behavior by looking around before walking away with it quickly. Brinton only having checked one piece of luggage, which Brinton had already claimed from the carousel, had no reason to be examining and taking any other pieces of luggage.”

Brinton, who has caused a stir among Americans in his role in the federal government for dressing in drag and boasting online about his puppy role-play fetish, came under fire late last month for allegedly stealing a woman’s luggage in Minneapolis.

He reportedly flew into MSP with American Airlines just before 4:30 p.m. from Washington, D.C. According to the complaint, Brinton traveled without a checked bag, indicating he had no purpose to claim a bag after landing.

The complaint alleges Brinton left the airport in an Uber and checked into the InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront hotel with the blue bag.

Brinton returned to MSP two days later, on September 18, and flew back to Washington, D.C., with the same bag.

Records and video surveillance showed the suitcase belonged to a female passenger who flew into the MSP on a Delta flight from New Orleans. According to a report, she notified law enforcement that her bag and the contents inside — valued at around $2,325 — had gone missing in the baggage claim area on the same day Brinton allegedly took the luggage.

Nearly three weeks later, the criminal complaint alleges, video surveillance footage from Dulles International Airport in Virginia captured Brinton returning from Europe with the bag on October 9.

Authorities contacted Brinton that same day, asking if he “took anything that did not belong” to him.

“Not that I know of,” Brinton allegedly responded, but later admitted he took the bag.

“If I had taken the wrong bag, I am happy to return it, but I don’t have any clothes for another individual. That was my clothes when I opened the bag,” he told police, according to the complaint.

He allegedly called authorities two hours later and apologized for not being “completely honest,” adding he took the bag thinking it was his in a state of exhaustion. The complaint also alleges Brinton realized it wasn’t his bag after opening it up at the hotel, at which point he “got nervous” and “didn’t know what to do.”

The charges that Brinton faces in both states are felonies. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine in Nevada, and five years in prison and a $10,000 fine in Minnesota.

Non-binary ex-Biden energy official escapes jail time in luggage grand larceny case

Sam Brinton, the embattled former senior Department of Energy (DOE) official, was able to escape jail time earlier this week in a grand larceny case dating back to July 2022.

According to Clark County, Nevada, criminal court records, Brinton was ordered to pay $3,670.74 to the victim in the case and $500 in additional fees including a criminal fine. Clark County Judge Ann Zimmerman then handed Brinton a 180-day suspended jail sentence, a sentence that doesn’t need to be served, and ordered Brinton to “stay out of trouble.”

Zimmerman also determined Brinton was guilty of theft of an item with the value less than $1,200. Earlier, Brinton pleaded “no contest” to the charges, waiving the right to a trial.

In early December, Las Vegas prosecutors charged Brinton with grand larceny of an item valued between $1,200 and $5,000. Police accused Brinton of stealing a suitcase with a total estimated worth of $3,670 on July 6, 2022, at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. The bag contained jewelry valued at $1,700, clothing worth $850 and makeup valued at $500.

A Las Vegas detective wrote in a police report related to the incident that a woman traveling from Washington, D.C., to Las Vegas on July 6 reported one of her checked bags missing shortly after the incident.

Police then reviewed security camera footage and observed “a white male adult wearing a white T-shirt with a large rainbow colored atomic nuclear symbol design” removing baggage that matched the victim’s description of her missing bag before quickly exiting the airport. However, following a brief investigation, detectives closed the case after they were unable to identify the suspect.

In late November, however, after it was reported Brinton had been accused of a separate airport theft in Minnesota, investigators reopened the case. Upon viewing news articles about the Minnesota charges, the officer who had closed the Las Vegas case months earlier “immediately recognized” Brinton “as the suspect pertaining to this case.”

“Brinton demonstrated several signs of abnormal behavior while taking the victim’s luggage which are cues suspects typically give off when committing luggage theft,” the lead detective wrote in a December report. “Specifically, Brinton pulled the victim’s luggage from the carousel and examined the tag.”

“Then placing it back on the carousel, looking in all directions for anyone who might be watching, or might approach,” it continued. “Pulling it back off the carousel and demonstrating the same behavior by looking around before walking away with it quickly. Brinton only having checked one piece of luggage, which Brinton had already claimed from the carousel, had no reason to be examining and taking any other pieces of luggage.”

On Dec. 14, Brinton was booked by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on the outstanding arrest warrant in the case and released on bond. Brinton faced up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine in the case.

Brinton’s case in Minnesota is still ongoing, with the next hearing slated for Monday.

Brinton made headlines after being appointed to the position that oversees nuclear waste policy at the DOE’s Office of Nuclear Energy as a non-binary gender-fluid person. Brinton has also posted about being a member of the so-called Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a drag queen group.

The DOE announced on Dec. 12 that Brinton had departed the agency but wouldn’t comment on the reason for the departure after the charges in Minnesota and Nevada. A spokesperson for the DOE said the agency wasn’t allowed to comment on personnel matters.
