This isn't a done deal but since Obi doesn't have easy access to his computer which is where he does all the administrative stuff for this forum, we discussed the possibility of someone stepping in to fill that role until Obi can be here more consistently.

With such a small group to work with the list of folk who have experience with that kinda thing is unavoidably limited. As someone who has run a forum in the past I am one of the people Obi's considering for granting temporary Admin status.

If it happens ...and it's still very much an if... I want to be up front that I wouldn't want to change anything about the way this forum is configured or managed. I would be a placeholder, just someone with the administrative tools to handle any serious glitches until Obi takes charge again, and nothing more.

As part of my own consideration of this arrangement I'd like to know all of your thoughts about this possibility.

... I doubt you'd take down my posts and/or ban me here on Obi's board like you did on your's, but Temple will be free to run loose
... The guy literally doesn't know how to post.. Obi has been able to keep his scatter brained shit somewhat organized by melding threads together where he constantly starts new ones with the same topics as the existing ones... He also has two huge threads where he puts Temples crap that's just too stupid to leave on the board..
... I bet there are *thousands* of posts specifically about Trump, not to mention thousands more of anyone affiliated or in his friggin orbit...then the ones that so much as mention Trump... All C&P articles .. No comments or views of his own...no discussion or debate..just more copy and pasting from left wing rags

... The point is, -Obi has been able to keep it somewhat under control.. Without him here to run the board, Temple will paste thread starters with every article he sees that aligns with his personal campaign against Trump and republicans...and the point with that is,- he burries everything else on the board..some of which might be of interest to somebody besides himself, and nobody posts nearly as much as Temple... Anyway
... I think I'll make myself scarce here and maybe come back when Obi comes back

This board can't afford to lose one of its contributors; especially not one of its most prolific contributors.

Instead of running away maybe try nominating another Admin or offering alternatives of some kind?
