Yeah, General Hospital. That's the only one I watch. Way back, my mother and I used to watch One Life To Live, too, and Dark Shadows. After DS was cancelled, Edge Of Night came on, sometime in the first half of the 70s. That's where Lori Loughlin got her start, (the one now in the college admission scandal). I remember seeing her on Edge.

A lot of people got started on soaps - Tommy Lee Jones was on OLTL, Demi Moore on GH, for example. Soaps aren't a big anymore due to "reality" shows, which are kinda the same thing I guess...at least the soaps don't pretend to be unscripted!

I thought it'd be pre-empted today, but it wasn't! They wrapped up the hearings by then, on that channel at least.
