Trump-loving pastor intends to keep Dallas mega-church open despite coronavirus — because he has a book signing.
One of President Donald Trump’s favorite pastors, Robert Jeffress, intends to keep a 13,000-member Dallas church open because he has a book signing on Sunday.
He explained that his book signing is far more important than anything else.
“Entertainment is optional,” he said according to the New York Times. He explained that worship isn’t.
“What we are doing is more important that what the NBA is doing,” he explained.
He’s open to other options if the virus spreads more in Texas, he said. However, due to inadequate testing, it’s unclear who has the virus and who merely has a cold. There are also carriers of the virus who don’t yet know that they are sick.
Jeffress’ book signing is scheduled for March 15 for his instruction manual: COURAGEOUS: 10 Strategies for Thriving in a Hostile World. “Self-quarantine” is not among the 10 strategies.

Westworld has become sorta boring.. Still will watch hoping for improvement. the first 2 seasons were great, but now eeehhhh.

The pastor of a megachurch in South Florida warned his parishioners Sunday that fears of exposure to COVID-19 was a `“demonic spirit.”
He encouraged his parishioners to show up to worship and not heed warnings from officials to avoid crowded spaces.
“Do you believe God would bring his people to his house to be contagious with the virus? Of course not,” he preached at a service on Sunday morning at the King Jesus International Ministry in Kendall.
“This service is usually packed. So now they’re home in a cave afraid of the virus, that you want to transmit the virus _ “If we die, we die for Christ. If we live, we live for Christ, so what do you lose?”
Religious right leaders, who vociferously defend and support everything Trump says or does are populated with buffoons, grifters, liars and fear mongers .
Instead of counseling members of their community to help them get through this pandemic, are putting them in danger by calling COVID-19 "a liberal plot."

Trump ‘spiritual adviser’ Paula White begs for cash to heal those who are ‘soul sick’ during coronavirus.
“Maybe you’d like to sow a $91 seed, and that’s just putting your faith with Psalm 91,” “Or maybe $9. Or whatever God tells you to do. If you want to be a blessing to Paula White Ministry.
We would love for you to help us and stand with us. We’d love for you to stand with your church. Don’t forget: Now is not the time to abandon your covenant with God. It’s a time that you go deeper. Stand with your pastor.”
Pastor Paula White used a Facebook prayer session as an opportunity to beg for money at a time when people are anxious about whether they’ll be able to survive the coronavirus, either medically or financially.
While she claimed the Bible could help people through coronavirus quarantine, it’s unclear how the $91 will help.
