President Donald Trump speaks about Fox News as though the network is his own state-run TV channel.
GQ political correspondent Julia Ioffe said the suggestion that a news outlet would be "working" for the president reminds her of the way authoritarian leaders elsewhere view their own state-run media networks.
"It's Dear Leader state-run TV," Ioffe said. "The only difference is that the authoritarian leaders are a little bit more subtle in hiding their tracks and don't air their grievances like this on the air." David Zurawik, the Baltimore Sun media critic, recalled "state-run TV behind the iron curtain 1991 Czechoslovakia."
Fox primetime is more like an entertainment network that just happens to carry a News theme. That’s how they file their taxes, and that’s how they defend themselves when someone tries to sue them for defamation and outright lying during their shows. Look up Akre v New World Communications, that’s exactly what they said about themselves.
Fox and Friends, Tucker, Sean and Laura. Those programs are actually classified as “opinion” programming by Fox News. Not News.
It’s important to note that “Fox News” is a brand name it is a slogan they have used. They are “Fox News” because they say so; that is the name they decided to call themselves when they debuted in 1996, and it’s still their name today. (We can debate whether they do enough news, or whether they do news at all, but they have every right to select a brand and then use it.)
gotta lu this one;

Fox News airs False graphics about Schiff, Taylor
Trump and Fox has repeatedly accused Schiff of treason for his retelling of Trump’s June 25 call with Zelensky. But experts and the Constitution say Schiff’s actions don’t constitute treason.
As we’ve noted, treason is defined narrowly in the Constitution to keep it from being applied to mere differences of opinion. The Constitution defines it this way:
"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court."
Experts agreed that nothing Schiff has said or done constitutes treason.
Trump’s accusation blurs the distinction between loyalty to a president and loyalty to the United States, said Carlton Larson, a law professor at the University of California-Davis and author of a book on treason. Even if Schiff had made up Trump’s words, it wouldn’t count as treason.
Trump has called Taylor, a career diplomat and military veteran, a "Never Trumper," including on Twitter the morning of Taylor’s testimony.
There’s no evidence that Taylor would qualify as a Never Trumper under any reasonable definition for the term, and leading Never Trumpers told us they had never heard of him associating with the movement. We rated Trump’s and Fox statement False. PunditFact.

Yea, I got bored reading the link, and noticed this
Quote :
“The day Richard Nixon failed to answer that subpoena is the day that he was subject to impeachment” —Senator Graham 1999
What does that even mean? .. Nixon wasn't impeached for failing to answer a subpoena .. He was pegged red handed in the watergate scandal and resigned before his inevitable impeachment .. Why are you toting that around?

Subject: Help for THANKSGIVING; Family Members Who Think They Know Everything Because They Watch Fox News. Sun Nov 24, 2019 9:00 pm
Thanksgiving dinners can be difficult if you’re headed to your family that has one of those annoying family members who think they know everything because they watch Fox News. Do This;
1. There’s no first-hand knowledge. It’s all hearsay.
I mean, except for Mick Mulvaney, who admitted it on live television.
2. Attempted bribery isn’t in the Constitution as a crime.
Actually it is. You know what they call “attempted bribery?” Bribery.
The Constitution cites “high crimes and misdemeanors” as a guide for impeachment. Attempted bribery falls under that. In fact, so does speeding in a school zone, which is considered a misdemeanor in some states.
3. He wasn’t successful, so it doesn’t matter.
That’s not how the law works. If a terrorist tries to blow himself up on a plane and the vest doesn’t go off, that doesn’t mean he’s innocent.
4. Presidents make deals all the time.
President’s don’t make deals for their own personal benefit.
Teddy Roosevelt’s famous quote “speak softly and carry a big stick,” didn’t mean he wanted people to take all of the sticks for his own personal stick collection. Ronald Regan never mandated East and West Germany use his own private BobCat company to “tear down that wall.”
5. We should just let the election decide it.
That’s not how the law works, nor is it how the law should work. If you break the law, you face the consequences, whether you’re a child, a teenager, a Congressman, Felicity Huffman, a Vegas kick-line dancer, or the president of the United States. No person is above the law. At least, that’s what it’s supposed to be like. If we want to start handing out loopholes for the rich, famous, and elected officials, let the GOP put that up for a ballot initiative in all 50 states.
If a guy running for Congress is caught embezzling millions for his campaign fund for his own personal business that is in bankruptcy, no one would say he shouldn’t be prosecuted, and we should just let voters decide.
