Why the numbers behind Mitch McConnell’s re-election don’t add up.
On a Thursday in August in Louisville, months before the 2020 election, a parade of cars filled with Kentucky Teamster representatives and labor groups, showed their fury at Mitch McConnell’s constant blocking of critical COVID aid. They drove by McConnell’s office raucously honking and bearing signs saying “Mitch better have my money.”
In 2017, a Public Policy Polling Survey asked Kentuckians, “Do you approve or disapprove of Senator Mitch McConnell’s job performance?” _ Only 18% approved. He clawed his rating back up to 39% on the eve of the election.
McConnell, leader of Senate Republicans, rarely holds town hall meetings with Kentucky voters—not since a heated exchange with an angry constituent went viral.
1 out of 5 voters appear to have filled out their ballots with votes for both the female Democratic Amy McGrath and the Republican pussy-grabber Donald Trump.
So, what exactly drove these angry Kentuckians to reelect Mitch McConnell with a 19-point advantage over opponent Amy McGrath—57.8% to 38.2%?
Even as Republicans across the country still insist that the election was rife with fraudulent Democratic votes, no one’s asking how McConnell managed one of the most lopsided landslides of the Nov. 3 election. They should. An investigation of Kentucky voting results by DCReport raises significant questions about the vote tallies in McConnell’s state.
McConnell racked up huge vote leads in traditionally Democratic strongholds, including counties that he had never before carried. There were wide, unexplained discrepancies between the vote counts for presidential candidates and down-ballot candidates.
Significant anomalies exist in the state’s voter records. Forty percent of the state’s counties carry more voters on their rolls than voting-age citizens. Kentucky and many other states using vote tabulation machines made by Election Systems & Software all reported down-ballot race results at significant odds with pre-election polls.
DCReport focused on the results in three counties in eastern Kentucky’s Appalachian Mountains, two of which Democrats usually always win, but similar patterns emerge in other counties across the state. Even in counties that voted overwhelmingly for Democrats as recently as the 2019 gubernatorial election, there were a staggering number of Democrats voting Republican in 2020.
In rural Breathitt County, for instance, there are 9,508 registered Democrats and just 1,599 registered Republicans. The county has a history of close contests, but Amy McGrath got only 1,652 votes versus 3,738 for McConnell, a 67% to 29% trouncing. McGrath’s votes, if accurate, equaled only 17% of registered Democrats in Breathitt County.
Conventional political wisdom in McConnell-land holds that these days “ancestral Kentucky Democrats” vote Republican, and analysts shouldn’t correlate party registration with voting patterns. But simply dismissing any anomalies based on anecdotal hearsay ignores the data and other possible explanations. McConnell won Breathitt County in 2020 with 1,308 more votes than he received in the county’s much closer 2014 race, which he won by fewer than 400 votes. The 2019 governor’s race was also a squeaker in Breathitt County, but Democrat Andy Beshear eked out a 69-vote victory. Beshear won the race statewide.
McConnell’s results were even more out of whack in two other nearby Appalachian counties. In his six previous Senate elections, Elliott and Wolfe counties had never voted for McConnell. Even up to last year, Elliott County remained reliably Democratic in non-presidential races, voting for the party’s entire Democratic slate in both the 2015 and 2019 statewide elections. Yet in 2020, McConnell won 64% of the votes in Wolfe County and 66% of the votes in Elliott County. McGrath only got 21% of registered Democrats in Wolfe and 20% in Elliott.
Next, take the premise that there would be some basic logic in the voting patterns of those who did vote Democratic. One might expect a registered Democrat, who’s going to vote Democratic, would walk into the booth and cast their vote for both Joe Biden and Amy McGrath. But the data tell another story. In 119 of 120 counties, Amy McGrath got more votes than Joe Biden. In some counties, the votes were close. But in counties like Breathitt and Elliott, 1 out of 5 voters appear to have filled out their ballots with votes for both the female Democratic Amy McGrath and the Republican pussy-grabber Donald Trump.
Then there is the question of why a county like Breathitt has more registered voters than it has people of voting age? 2019 population data shows that Breathitt County had 12,630 people with approximately 23% below the voting age of 18. This means approximately 9,700 people are of voting age, yet there are 11,497 registered voters. Having 100% of the voting-age population registered would be astounding enough, but Breathitt County appears to have almost 120% more registered voters than age-eligible citizens. And looking further, it appears this is not limited to Breathitt.
In November 2017, Judicial Watch, a right-wing non-partisan foundation promoting transparency, sued Kentucky over its “Dirty Voter Rolls” and its failure to maintain accurate voter registration lists. The suit argued that 48 of the 120 Kentucky counties had more registered voters than citizens over the age of 18 and alleged that Kentucky was one of only three states with a statewide active registration rate greater than 100% of the age-eligible citizen population. Kentucky’s inflated voter rolls, and lack of transparency, provide a perfect cover for malfeasant behavior regarding the election results.
Turning an 18% approval into a 58% win may seem like a “turning water into wine”-style miracle, but a “smoke & mirrors” parlor trick seems more likely. To better understand how the data could have been manipulated, look no further than Trump’s own legal filings. In an incompetent post-election lawsuit, the Trump team may have intended to accuse Democrats of election fraud, but in describing a possible plot, they attributed the cheating to Trump himself.
In a Dec. 4 filing in Georgia, Trump’s legal team referred to a “machine-controlled algorithm deliberately run” by a voting machine vendor, Dominion Voting Systems. They allege this algorithm “generally took more than 2.5% of the votes from Mr. Biden and flipped them to Mr. Trump.” So Trump’s own legal team, instead of providing evidence of fraud by Biden’s side, may have inadvertently revealed fraud benefiting Trump. In describing a deliberate, vendor installed, machine-controlled algorithm automatically taking a percentage of Biden’s votes and giving them to Trump, they certainly are outlining how fraud could have been executed.
Trump’s team claims Dominion was the machine vendor embedding algorithms to “flip” votes but is Trump pointing to one machine vendor to distract from another?
In Kentucky, when looking at counties where the numbers leap out on behalf of Mitch McConnell, none used Dominion machines. Most used machines from Election Systems & Software (ES&S), a Dominion competitor. If you swap ES&S for Dominion in the alleged vote-flipping scheme, you may arrive at an alternate explanation for why Amy McGrath’s numbers weren’t lining up and correlating with Biden’s.
To steal an election it may make sense to use different algorithms for each race on the ballot so results did not appear to be uniform. Knowing the McGrath-McConnell race faced more nationwide scrutiny, schemers might have had to miscount votes by different margins in the presidential and Senate races. Flipping more votes from Biden to Trump than McGrath votes to McConnell would explain her getting approximately 20% more votes than the Democratic presidential candidate.
Significantly, Trump and his post-election legal team have pointed at Dominion voting machines and implored courts to look into this automated vote-flipping premise—but only in states that he lost. So, let’s test it in ES&S states like Kentucky where Trump won.
McConnell had his biggest percentage of registered Democrats voting Republican in counties using ES&S machines. But he wasn’t the only senator to perform so well. Other Republican incumbents, whom polls indicated would have close races, had similar luck to their majority leader on election day.
Lindsey Graham’s race in South Carolina was so tight that he infamously begged for money, yet he won with a comfortable 10% lead—tabulated on ES&S machines throughout the state. In Susan Collins’s Maine, where she never had a lead in a poll after July 2, almost every ballot was fed through ES&S machines. Kentucky, South Carolina, Maine, Texas, Iowa and Florida are all states that use ES&S machines. Maybe the polls didn’t actually get it wrong.
When Trump says “look over here” at Dominion voting machines, maybe we should look at ES&S machines instead. When Republicans spout unfounded claims that Democrats stole the election, maybe we should be looking at Republican vote totals instead. And when Trump calls this the most fraudulent election in our history, maybe he knows of what he speaks.

Trump supporter charged with felonies for election fraud.
President Donald Trump has repeatedly pushed conspiracy theories about election fraud, but has failed to turn up evidence.
A prosecutor in Pennsylvania believes he has found evidence of voter fraud -- but it was meant to help Trump.
"In the weeks leading up to the presidential election, Elizabeth Bartman and Elizabeth Weihman registered to vote as Republicans in Nether Providence Township, Delaware County officials said Monday. There was one problem:
Both women had been dead for several years," The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Monday. "The man behind those applications, Bruce Bartman, now faces two felony counts of perjury, as well as one count of unlawful voting for successfully casting an absentee ballot for President Donald Trump in the name of Elizabeth Bartman, his long-dead mother."
Bartman was released on $100,000 bail after being arraigned.

MI judge approves release of audit showing 68% error rates in county’s Dominion voting software Ballot Recount (Brash/WikiCommons) DECEMBER 14, 2020 LIZ GEORGE
A Michigan judge allowed the results of a forensic audit of Dominion Voting Systems machines and software in one Michigan county to be released on Monday, revealing 68 percent error rates.
Thirteenth Circuit Judge Kevin Elsenheimer ordered the removal of a protective order preventing the 23-page report conducted by Allied Security Operations Group from being released after attorney Matthew DePerno pushed for transparency in a court hearing. In the report, Russell Ramsland Jr., co-founder of Allied Security Operations Group, said Antrim County’s server showed 15,676 individual events, with 68 percent reporting errors.
“The allowable election error rate established by the Federal Election Commission guidelines is of 1 in 250,000 ballots (.0008%). We observed an error rate of 68.05%. This demonstrated a significant and fatal error in security and election integrity,” the report stated.
According to Ramsland, the voting system “is intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results.”
The report said the error rates that resulted in tabulation errors or ballots being sent to adjudication proved the Dominion Voting System in Michigan was “flawed and does not meet state or federal election laws.”
The judge had previously approved the audit to be conducted in Bailey v. Antrim Count, a lawsuit alleging a vote flip that officials confirmed in November did not occur as a result of human error.
On Election Night, Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden received almost 7,800 votes out of 12,423, according to county officials. Two days later, the officials said the county actually went to President Trump. On November 21, officials updated their figures again, removing roughly 1,300 votes from Biden.
“A staggering number of votes required adjudication. This was a 2020 issue not seen in previous election cycles still stored on the server. This is caused by intentional errors in the system. The intentional errors lead to bulk adjudication of ballots with no oversight, no transparency, or audit trail. Our examination of the server logs indicates that this high error rate was incongruent with patterns from previous years. The statement attributing these issues to human error is not consistent with the forensic evaluation, which points more correctly to systemic machine and/or software errors. The systemic errors are intentionally designed to create errors in order to push a high volume of ballots to bulk adjudication,” Ramsland stated in the report.
A forensic duplication was performed on the Antrim County’s election management server, which was running Dominion software, Dominion ImageCast system, Dominion Voter Assist Terminal USB memory sticks and USB sticks for the poll book.
“We believe that public interest in seeing what we discovered and what we say in the report would outweigh any potential harm to Dominion software,” DePerno told the court, the Epoch Times reported.
Numbers; the total votes were not much different than when trump won the state.. Biden got more this time than trump did but not by any numbers of a great difference than trump got in 2020. the blacks rolled out in very high numbers this time. so-- all that insane conspiracy shit is just that, siht.

Judge Orders New Election After 78 Percent of Mail-In Ballots Found Invalid, Notary Arrested Jack Phillips Mar 4, 2021
A Mississippi judge ordered a new runoff election for a local election in Aberdeen after more than three-quarters of absentee ballots cast in the June Democratic runoff election were found to be invalid, while a notary involved in the election was arrested.
Judge Jeff Weill, in a 64-page order, said that there is evidence of fraud and criminal activity in how absentee ballots were handled, how they were counted, and actions from individuals at polling places during the runoff election held in Aberdeen, Mississippi. As a result, a new runoff election for the Ward 1 alderman seat is necessary, reported WCBI.
The judge ruled that 66 of 84 absentee ballots that were cast in the election, or around 78 percent, should have never been counted, according to WCBI. Nicholas Holliday was declared the winner of the alderman seat by 37 votes, while challenger Robert Devaull contested the results in court.
“The court is of the opinion there is probable cause that several individuals involved in the disturbances during election day at the polling precinct ‘willfully and corruptly violated’ one or more of the above criminal statutes,” according to the judge.
“The court will leave to the appropriate authorities to determine whether the actions of Maurice Howard, Henry Randle and S. Nicholas Holliday amounted to prosecutable crimes,” the court filings also said, referring to Police Chief Henry Randle and former Mayor Maurice Howard, who Weill said were involved in intimidation and harassment at the polling police on Election Day, according to evidence.

Meanwhile, Weill ordered a separate bench warrant and set bond for $500 for Dallas Jones, who notarized the absentee ballots in question, reported the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal. She was later released on bond, reports said. According to court documents, Jones said she admitted that she violated her notary duties and allegedly said she assisted an individual or individuals that flaunted the state’s voter fraud law.
Jones testified in a hearing that she was called to the home of then Alderwoman Lady Garth to correct the woman’s father’s absentee ballot paperwork. Jones said she notarized “about 30 something ballots,” WCBI reported, adding that the judge found that 83 regular ballots were counted without being initialed by election workers.
The court filings said that another notary, Lu Stephens, made testimony that was determined not to be believable, according to the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal. The judge noted that other irregularities were noted, including ballot box integrity and not certifying the election in a timely manner.
“When you have an absentee ballot, there’s an envelope, you vote, fold the ballot, put it in an envelope, lick the flap, sign across the flap, then notary signs your election certificate, she testified that she didn’t sign in front of anybody, didn’t see anybody sign it, she just notarized it, just stamped them,” said Lydia Quarles, an attorney for Robert Devaull, told WCBI.
An attorney for Holliday told WCBI that they “will explore all the legal remedies afforded to Mr. Holliday under the law including but not limited to a request for the Court to reconsider its findings; a judgment notwithstanding the verdict or new trial; or the appellate process.”

Trump faces new perils in Georgia election probe as grand jury set to convene this week:
The investigation into former President Donald Trump's infamous phone call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is heating up, and CNN reports that a grand jury will be seated this week to begin the process of gathering evidence.
According to CNN, the grand jury will give Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis her first crack at obtaining documents and subpoenaing witnesses in a probe that could result in criminal charges against the former president.
"Two grand juries are set to convene in Fulton County on Thursday, opening a path for Willis' next phase in her probe," reports CNN. "A person familiar with the investigation said they are likely to rely heavily on subpoenas rather than voluntary requests for records and interviews, in part to establish a clear court record of their pursuit of evidence."
During a phone call in early January, Trump asked Raffensperger to "find" the roughly 12,000 votes that he would need to overturn President Joe Biden's win in Georgia.
Georgia state election law states that a "person commits the offense of criminal solicitation to commit election fraud in the first degree when, with intent that another person engage in conduct constituting a felony under this article, he or she solicits, requests, commands, importunes, or otherwise attempts to cause the other person to engage in such conduct."

After Congress failed to aid local election offices, a nonprofit provided critical funds — including $350 million from Mark Zuckerberg — that paid for staff, ballot-scanning machines, protective gear, and rental space that helped the presidential election run surprisingly smoothly.
The Center for Tech and Civic Life was founded in 2012 to help local election officials better use technology. The center, which had annual revenues of just $1.4 million in 2019, saw its budget and its role increase significantly in 2020.
After disastrous primaries in states like Wisconsin — where voters waited in long lines, mail-in ballots went missing and poll workers opted not to show up — election observers expressed deep worry that the nation was ill-equipped to manage a highly contentious general election during a pandemic.
That concern only grew after Congress didn’t pass a second stimulus bill over the summer, failing to deliver a second round of much-needed funding for election administration.
“Despite election officials basically begging our federal government for assistance, that money never came through,” said Howard, with the Brennan Center for Justice. “Congress really failed our election officials.”
In lieu of federal funding, the Center for Tech and Civic Life became a conduit for tech companies to help. The center lists Google and Facebook as key funders and partners. Zuckerberg and Chan announced a $250 million donation to the center in September and another $100 million gift in October.
“I agree with those who say that government should have provided these funds, not private citizens,” Zuckerberg wrote in an October Facebook post. “I hope that for future elections, the government provides adequate funding. But absent that funding, I think it’s critical that this urgent need is met.”
Matthew Weil, director of the elections project at the Bipartisan Policy Center, a Washington, D.C., think tank that studies elections, notes that underfunding of elections isn’t new. Many elections departments across the country had their budgets slashed following the 2008 recession and their funding never fully recovered.
“It does seem ridiculous to me that governments really have taken a back seat,” Weil said. “Working more with less eventually doesn’t work at some point. And there’s things that we have to buy to provide the election process that Americans expect.”
Funding for elections has decreased not just on the federal level but on the local one as well, Weil says. Though states handle key parts of the election process like voter registration and election security, local departments often are tasked with funding voting equipment and infrastructure, parts of the system that voters interact with most frequently.
“You’re competing with fire departments, EMS, potholes. I mean, elections happen frequently enough. But no one’s life depends on them, in the most immediate sense. And so it’s really difficult for them to get the kind of funding that they need.”
In some instances, money from the Center for Tech and Civic Life went beyond the annual budgets of election departments. In Kenosha, Wisconsin, the grant money was more than four times the city’s 2020 election budget. Grants for Milwaukee and Philadelphia accounted for more than half of those cities’ respective election budgets, according to an analysis of grant documents.
The Wisconsin grants The five largest cities in Wisconsin applied for a grant together. While the largest of these five, Milwaukee, and the smallest, Racine, both requested substantial funding for additional staff, hazard pay for poll workers and outreach plans, there were notable differences in their grant applications. Milwaukee focused on funding for in-person early voting locations. One of Racine's largest line items was a request for an accessible mobile voting precinct.

Florida Republican taken into custody on felony election fraud charges
One day after authorities removed multiple boxes of evidence while executing a search warrant on a former GOP state legislator's home, he has been taken into custody.
"Frank Artiles, the Republican political operative suspected of secretly arranging a sham candidate to run in a key 2020 state senate race, surrendered to a Miami-Dade County jail on Thursday to face felony campaign finance charges," the Miami Herald reported Thursday.
"Artiles is facing several charges, including felony charges for making illegal contributions and false swearing in connection to the election, according to a copy of the arrest warrant," the newspaper reported.
"Prosecutors say Artiles offered Alexis (Alex) Pedro Rodriguez $50,000 to run in the race to 'siphon votes from the incumbent,' Democrat Jose Javier Rodriguez. Half was to be paid during the election and the rest after the election, Alex Rodriguez told prosecutors."
Artiles actually only paid $44,708.03.
"The race pitted former TV personality Ileana Garcia, a Republican, against incumbent Jose Javier Rodriguez, a Democrat. Alex Rodriguez ran as an independent, did zero campaigning and took no calls from the media before the Nov. 3 election.
But his candidacy was bolstered by deceptive political mail advertisements paid for by a dark money group whose address is a UPS store in Atlanta," the newspaper explained.
"Jose Javier Rodriguez lost by just 32 votes after a three-day recount, and Alex Rodriguez's presence on the ballot was widely seen as a political ploy to confuse voters because of their shared last names and the dark money-sponsored political mailers."
"The first was an alcohol-fueled rant in which he called two Black lawmakers a racist slur in a Tallahassee bar. The second involved the hiring of a former Hooters "calendar girl" and a Playboy model with no political experience as "consultants" using funds from his political committee," the newspaper noted.

Donald Trump continues to lie to Americans about widespread voter fraud, but one of the only people to be caught in the act is one of his own supporters.
"A Pennsylvania man has been sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty to casting a vote in the name of his deceased mother in an effort to reelect then-President Donald Trump, according to court records and Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer's office,"
CNN reported Monday. "Bruce Bartman, 70, received the sentence Friday after entering a guilty plea to two counts of perjury and one count of unlawful voting. Bartman will also lose his right to vote for four years, pursuant to Pennsylvania statute, the district attorney's office said in a news release."
"Voter records show that Bartman used Pennsylvania's online voter-registration portal to register both his late mother, Elizabeth Bartman, and his deceased mother-in-law, Elizabeth Weihman, who died in 2019 -- illegally registering both as Republican voters, the district attorney's office said. Bartman then requested, filled out and sent in the absentee ballot for his deceased mother for the 2020 general election," CNN reported.

Trump Vindicated as Judge Rules Michigan Secretary of State Violated Election Laws
A judge in Michigan has vindicated President Trump by ruling that Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, broke state law when she unilaterally changed election rules concerning absentee balloting in the 2020 election.
This ruling legitimizes a key claim made by the Trump legal team in its challenges to the 2020 election.
A major change imposed by Benson was loosening the signature verification requirement for absentee ballots. Michigan Court of Claims Chief Judge Christopher Murray ruled that this change violated Michigan Administrative Procedures Act.
The court made the following conclusion:
…nowhere in this state’s election law has the Legislature indicated that signatures are to be presumed valid, nor did the Legislature require that signatures are to be accepted so long as there are any redeeming qualities in the application or return envelope as compared with the signature on file. Policy determinations like the one at issue — which places the thumb on the scale in favor of a signature’s validity — should be made pursuant to properly promulgated rules under the APA or by the Legislature.
Over 3.1 million Michiganders voted by absentee ballot in November. Biden “won” the state by just over 154,000 votes, according to the state-certified results.
“I’m glad the court sees Secretary of State Benson’s attempts at lawmaking for what they are – clear violations of her authority,” said State Rep. Matt Hall, a Republican. “If she wants to make changes like these, she needs to work with the Legislature or properly promulgate them through the laws we have on the books.”
“The Legislature is an equal branch of government charged with crafting laws,” Hall continued. “This is not the role of the Secretary of State, and there is a clear process that must be respected. Unfortunately, Secretary of State Benson has a pattern of not respecting that process. She issued a mandatory directive requiring local election officials to apply a presumption of validity to all signatures on absent voter ballots, but there is nothing within state law allowing for that type of power from her position. As a result, this directive was found to be not in accordance with our laws and not valid.”
Michigan was not the only state where Democrat state officials unilaterally changed election laws, so this ruling certainly raises legitimate doubts whether Biden truly won the election without invalid votes.
