Hunter Biden asks for criminal probe into Trump allies for 'theft' of data from laptop.

The letters from Biden's lawyers asking investigators for probes into Rudy Giuliani and others is a dramatic shift in strategy for the president's son.

Lawyers for Hunter Biden sent letters Wednesday requesting investigations into allies of former President Donald Trump who they say trafficked in stolen information from his laptop — a dramatic shift in strategy for the president’s son after years of GOP attacks.

Among the letters, which were obtained by NBC News, was one sent Wednesday to the Justice Department's National Security Division asking for an investigation into "individuals for whom there is considerable reason to believe violated various federal laws in accessing, copying, manipulating, and/or disseminating Mr. Biden’s personal computer data," including Rudy Giuliani, who was Trump's lawyer at the time.

Hunter Biden lawyers wrote a similar letter to the Delaware attorney general's office, requesting a probe into the same people for allegedly violating "various Delaware laws" in accessing Biden's information from what Trump has called "the laptop from hell."

The Justice Department declined to comment. A spokesperson for the Delaware attorney's general did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Information from the laptop has raised questions about Biden's finances, which have been under investigation by federal prosecutors in Delaware since 2018. They've also been the source of several salacious stories from conservative media outlets, many focused on his drug use.

Biden has largely kept a low profile during the years of stories — Trump would question "Where's Hunter?" during campaign rallies in the 2020 election — but a person familiar with the first son's strategy told NBC News he's had enough.

"This marks a new approach by Hunter Biden and his team. He is not going to sit quietly by as questionable characters continue to violate his rights and media organizations peddling in lies try to defame him,”
the person said.

Giuliani has acknowledged passing on a copy of the computer’s hard drive to the New York Post shortly before the 2020 presidential election.

The letters to investigators also recommend an investigation into John Paul Mac Isaac, who’s said that Biden abandoned the water-damaged laptop at his Wilmington, Delaware, computer repair store.

“Mr. Mac Isaac chose to work with President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer to weaponize Mr. Biden’s personal computer data against his father, Joseph R. Biden, by unlawfully causing the provision of Mr. Biden’s personal data to the New York Post,” the letter says.

It accused Mac Isaac and others of “theft of computer services” and Giuliani and others of “possession of stolen property.”

You bring a car to a garage for repair and abandon it there.. The car is repaired, the garage tries to contact you with no luck .. 8-10-12 months later you see the car driving around and claim it was stolen...heh

Funny he didn't claim the cocain and crack pipe he left in the rental car was stolen. .
... Besides, all the to-do about the laptop is *Russian Disinformation* .. Propaganda.. So there's nothing for him to worry about

.. There's a 2nd laptop he abandoned at his shrink's that was also turned in to the FBI, which they returned to him, so he should consider himself lucky and STFU

Hunter Biden’s new lawyer has asked the DOJ to investigate how his stolen laptop ended up in the hands of a Delaware computer repairman and how his personal data was subsequently illegally leaked to Rudy Giuliani and other right wing political figures, who in turn used it to smear him and his father.

Hunter acknowledges that at least some of the data is indeed his, but says he did not drop off the laptop to the repair shop.
The use of the word “at least some of” are mine, because my personal belief (from working nearly two decades in fraud prevention) is that at least some of the data may have been planted on top of a stolen laptop’s data to create a disinformation campaign of epic proportions. The best way to make a lie believable is to shroud it in a lot of truth.

Hunter’s lawyer has also sent a cease and desist letter
to Fox Entertainment (and specifically Tucker) to retract and apologize.
A libel suit of Dominion proportions coming up, even more so because Hunter Biden is not a public figure.

The computer repair shop owner is not getting a free ride either:

“This failed dirty political trick directly resulted in the exposure, exploitation, and manipulation of Mr. Biden’s private and personal information.
Mr. Mac Isaac’s intentional, reckless, and unlawful conduct allowed for hundreds of gigabytes of Mr. Biden’s personal data, without any discretion, to be circulated around the Internet,” Hunter Biden’s attorney Abbe Lowell wrote in the letter.

The letter asks for investigations into Garrett Ziegler, John Paul Mac Isaac, Robert Costello,
Rudy Giuliani and Stephen Bannon.

But by his own account, Mac Isaac said he went through files on Hunter Biden’s laptop the day after it was dropped off.

In his book, Mac Isaac said the day after Hunter Biden dropped off the laptop, he noticed a file titled “income.pdf” in the hard drive, which apparently tracked Biden’s finances.

According to Robert Costello, Giuliani’s attorney, a copy of the hard drive was sent to one of Giuliani’s company addresses in late August or early September 2020. Giuliani eventually sent a copy of the hard drive to the New York Post.

Giuliani told The Wall Street Journal in October 2020 that he had “every right to use” the hard drive.

A research group run by Garrett Ziegler, a former aide to Trump White House adviser Peter Navarro, posted emails and documents allegedly from Hunter’s laptop on a publicly accessible website.

According to Politico, Ziegler said he received the copy of the laptop through Giuliani and Bernard Kerik, the former New York City police commissioner and associate of Giuliani.

On the website where Ziegler’s group, Marco Polo, posted the alleged contents of the laptop, a disclaimer reads: “Marco Polo testifies that the contents of the Biden Laptop were abandoned property.”

I'm wondering why Hunter Biden can ask the DOJ to investigate anything
His father is the president, not him .. He's just a shit stain
... If one of us had anything stolen we'd be lucky if a detective would bother looking into it..or even a cop
... There's no reason any govt agency should spend time and resources investigating anything for that scumbag... Taxpayers should fund an investigation on his behalf?

Those who share sexual images of someone else without their consent can face criminal charges because of that decision. An offense could be a level 6 felony.

It is a crime--
When such images are published on Internet websites, the images are able to be viewed
indefinitely by persons worldwide and are able to be easily reproduced and shared.

The publication or dissemination of such images through the use of Internet websites or electronic means creates a permanent record of the depicted person’s private nudity or private sexually explicit conduct.

Hunter Biden has a solid undisputable case.
