| Senior FBI Official Goes Public With Damning Information About Mar-a-Lago RaidJon Dougherty, June 12, 2023 When nearly two dozen FBI agents raided Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate last August, an unprecedented move against a former president, his allies decried it as a blatant act of political retribution by a left-wing administration bent on damaging its most likely opponent for the White House in 2024. Naturally, the Biden administration pushed back against such allegations and claimed that the raid was just the next logical step in what had been an ongoing investigation into a suspect believed to be illegally in possession of sensitive materials. But now, thanks to the testimony of a senior FBI official, it has become evident that the raid very likely was a politically motivated act to take down President Joe Biden’s chief rival. Senior FBI official Steven D’Antuono testified recently before the House Judiciary Committee that he had “strong concerns” about several procedural violations that occurred ahead of the August 2022 raid at Trump’s estate. According to Just the News, D’Antuono — a former Assistant Director of the FBI’s Washington Field Office — pointed out a number of rule violations he says were made by FBI officials during the raid, all of which were detailed in a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland from the committee’s chairman, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio). Jordan “noted several unusual features in the Department’s handling” of the raid in the letter he sent to the head of Biden’s Justice Department. The former FBI agent observed “several irregularities” within the Bureau prior to the raid, while noting the apparent lack of concern from the agency regarding stacks of classified documents discovered in President Joe Biden’s garage. D’Antuono expressed confusion as to why the raid was assigned to the Washington Field Office instead of the Miami office, which is geographically closer to Mar-a-Lago. That decision alone concerns the raid was likely more political in nature than a true law enforcement operation. The special agent also revealed the bureau had not obtained consent to search Trump’s home before obtaining the search warrant. Additionally, agents who took part did not wait for Trump’s attorney to arrive on-site before forcibly entering by cutting locks and conducting the search. Finally, the Justice Department did not assign a U.S. attorney to oversee the raid, which is highly unusual. In sum, Jordan is demanding an explanation from Garland. There are other problems with the raid as well that strongly indicate a political motivation. In April, for instance, it was revealed that President Joe Biden and the White House had provided false information regarding their involvement in the raid on Trump’s Florida home. Despite Biden’s repeated claims of having no knowledge or participation in the raid, a Freedom of Information Act request conducted by America First Legal revealed that the Biden administration had indeed interacted with the FBI and initiated the raid through a “special access request.” The organization stated that the records show that “Biden officials in the Executive Office of the President and the Department of Justice unlawfully abused their power and then lied about it to the American people.” In addition, the FBI visited Mar-a-Lago a couple of months before the raid but for some reason, did not collect the documents then. What’s more, armed FBI agents did not raid the homes of Biden or former Vice President Mike Pence, both of whom were reportedly in possession of classified materials though they had no prior authority to declassify them. Only Trump’s home was raided in a high-profile fashion. On Sunday, Trump attorney Alina Habba said she “could not imagine” any scenario where the former commander-in-chief would cop a deal with Biden’s DOJ, because that is akin to “an admission of guilt” and Trump has “done nothing wrong.” |

| GOP’s Comer Sends Warning to Biden: More Evidence Coming Regarding ‘Influence Peddling Schemes’ Jon Dougherty, June 18, 2023
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said on Saturday that his panel is about to get a substantial new trove of evidence he claims supports allegations of an “influence peddling scheme” involving President Joe Biden and his family.
In an interview with Fox News host Mark Levin, the Kentucky Republican said their “job in the House Oversight Committee is to follow the money, and we have more bank records coming in.”
“We’re going to start bringing in key figures in the Biden family influence-peddling schemes for depositions, and I think we’re on the right track, even though we’re having to fight the FBI, fight the DOJ, fight the Democrats in Congress, and fight the mainstream media,” he told Levin, per Newsmax.
“I think we’ve done as much as we could do with the obstacles we’ve had to overcome,” Comer added. “No one thought I would get bank records. No one thought we would get access to the Treasury, Cabinet’s suspicious activity reports, but we would not take no for an answer.
“We kept fighting, and we prevailed. When we got access to the suspicious activity reports, the mainstream media said there was nothing there,” he said.
Comer asserted that both the DOJ and the FBI lack transparency with the American people, citing their inconsistent excuses as evidence.
“You heard in the testimony when Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley grilled the deputy FBI director as to why they wouldn’t release the Form 1023, they said, ‘Well, we don’t want to endanger the life of our paid informant who’s one of our most trusted, highest paid, most credible FBI informants,'” Comer told Levin.
“So, if this is the case, and the FBI informant’s that credible and the FBI informant tells the FBI that the vice president of the United States took a bribe from a foreign national in exchange for foreign policy and foreign aid, then why did the FBI not investigate it?”
Earlier in the week, Comer said that Biden is currently under investigation for bribery by the FBI.
During an interview on “Sunday Night in America,” Comer and host Trey Gowdy discussed the ongoing House Republican investigation into Biden and his family’s alleged business dealings. Comer said the FBI told him that Biden is “currently under investigation for bribery.”
Comer spoke about the unclassified FD-1023 FBI form alleging that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a bribery pay-to-play scheme. Comer said FBI Director Christopher Wray “finally” admitted to the existence of that form after Comer and Sen. Chuck Grassley said they read the document, reportedly sourced from a whistleblower.
A whistleblower reportedly provided evidence alleging Biden was involved in corrupt ‘pay-for-play’ schemes as vice president. The source has been frequently used by the FBI since the Obama administration and is deemed to be “highly credible.”
Below is a partial transcript of the exchange, via Grabien:
GOWDY: “Speaking of House Oversight and your colleague Jamie Raskin, he said the matter was investigated and closed. I want you to listen and then I’ll ask you a question on the other side, chairman.”
[Clip starts] RASKIN: “That was checked out by the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, Scott Brady. (…) That assessment of this tip came back empty-handed. They said there is no grounds to escalate this from an initial assessment to a full-blown criminal investigation or a preliminary investigation. They said there just wasn’t enough there.” [Clip ends]
GOWDY: “Now, AG Barr, who has a very complicated relationship with President Trump, says that’s completely false, that he did not close it. What can you tell us? Raskin says it was looked at and closed. Was it?”
COMER: “No, Jamie Raskin lied, and the FBI told us that it was still a part of an ongoing investigation. So, what I believe has happened, Trey, is that according to Bill Barr, then-attorney general, they got the form 1023, and because it was from one of the FBI’s most credible, highest-paid, most trusted, most effective informants, they took it seriously but they did not look into it. They just pass it along to the U.S. Attorney in Delaware.
Look, here is what we know. There are 20 shell companies, at least, and probably more that were laundering money from foreign nationals, including Romania, including money being sent less than two weeks after Joe Biden left there as vice president delivering foreign aid and talking about foreign policy. This form 1023 alleges the exact same thing happened in Ukraine. And the reason I think is credible, Trey, is that this was dated, this last 1023, in June or July of 2020, three years before anybody knew about the shell companies and knew that the Bidens were laundering money through six different American banks. |
