An enormous dark hole has opened up in the sun's surface and is spewing powerful streams of unusually fast radiation, known as solar wind, right at Earth. The size and orientation of the temporary gap, which is wider than 60 Earths, is unprecedented at this stage of the solar cycle, scientists say.

The giant dark patch on the sun, known as a coronal hole, took shape near the sun's equator on Dec. 2 and reached its maximum width of around 497,000 miles (800,000 kilometers) within 24 hours, Spaceweather.com reported. Since Dec. 4, the solar void has been pointing directly at Earth.

Nostradamus’ predications for 2024

The French astrologer Nostradamus has long been a trendy topic as the clock nears midnight on New Year’s Eve, with the prophet’s predictions—though highly subjective and even more debatable—catching the curiosity en masse for the year ahead.

Unfortunately, the quatrains focused on 2024 are pretty dreary, bordering on chaotic.

But alas, here they are …

War on the water with China's navy

Nostradamus wrote that a “Red adversary will become pale with fear, putting the great Ocean in dread.”

While this can be directed in other areas, many believe it’s referring to China’s ongoing beef with Taiwan.

Climate disaster

The climate has become a widely debatable subject in recent years, especially along political lines where some believe it’s a valid concern while others view the information as a sham (while also spelling it like the preposition instead of the noun).

Nostradamus wrote that “The dry earth will grow more parched, and there will be great floods when it is seen.”

Royal unrest

If you were hoping to see more Royal Family drama in 2024, you’re in luck. Nostradamus predicted that the “King of the Isles will be driven out by force.”

In his place will be … King Harry and not William.

Hmm…

A new Pope

Predicting death? Yep, Nostradamus was apt to foresee the downfall of man as well as the demise.

And while this seems to be an awful practice, we’d be amiss not to list this quatrain that has many looking at the Vatican City in Rome.

“Through the death of a very old Pontiff, a Roman of good age will be elected. Of him, it will be said that he weakens his sight, but long will he sit and in biting activity.”

2024 is going to be a wild ride.

So there's this saying -

PlayStation is removing hundreds of Discovery shows that users already purchased

Sony is removing hundreds of Discovery titles from users' video libraries that they already purchased.

Users who bought any of the hundreds of listed programs will no longer be able to access the content as of December 31, according to a legal notice posted by the company.

"Due to our content licensing arrangements with content providers, you will no longer be able to watch any of your previously purchased Discovery content and the content will be removed from your video library," the note said.

There was no discussion of a refund or a way to download Discovery content purchased for PlayStation.

Mexico City could be just months away from running out of drinking water



Mexico City is facing severe water shortages that could see large parts of the city run dry in months.

Boeing whistleblower found dead days after testifying against company



A Boeing whistleblower who raised concerns about the company's production standards was found dead days after testifying against the company.

Sixty-two-year-old John Barnett of Louisiana had worked for Boeing for 32 years before retiring in 2017 because of his health, according to the BBC. In the lead-up to his death, he had been giving evidence in a whistleblower lawsuit against the aircraft giant.

The Charleston County Coroner's Office in South Carolina confirmed to several news outlets that Barnett died on March 9 of what appeared to be a self-inflicted (yeah right) gunshot wound. He was found dead in his truck in a hotel parking lot.

In a statement to Scripps News, Boeing said, "We are saddened by Mr. Barnett's passing, and our thoughts are with his family and friends."

Tennessee Senate passes bill based on 'chemtrails' conspiracy theory





The Tennessee Senate has passed a bill targeting "chemtrails."

SB 2691/HB 2063, sponsored by Rep. Monty Fritts, R-Kingston, and Sen. Steve Southerland, R-Morristown, passed in the Senate on Monday. The bill has yet to advance in the House.

The bill claims it is "documented the federal government or other entities acting on the federal government's behalf or at the federal government's request may conduct geoengineering experiments by intentionally dispersing chemicals into the atmosphere, and those activities may occur within the State of Tennessee," according to the bill.

The legislation would ban the practice in Tennessee.

"The intentional injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatus within the borders of this state into the atmosphere with the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of the sunlight is prohibited," the bill reads.

Why does this video exist?

Why are people filming the bridge from the shore miles away from the port at Fort Armistead on a tiny fishing pear at 1:28 AM in Baltimore in 46F weather (even colder right next to the water and wind easily hitting low 30s)?

Baltimore is one of the most dangerous cities in the country, filled with thugs and gang bangers. Why would someone be outside at this spot at 1:28 AM in Baltimore?

Nineveh is the name of an ancient Assyrian town. It was a wicked city which God commanded Jonah to go to and preach against the wickedness, but Jonah fled from God instead and ended up in the belly of the whale.

After he got puked up (or shat out) God sent him there again, he went and preached and the entire city repented their evil ways and God did not destroy them.
