NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (WFLA) – A naked Florida man wearing nothing but a woman’s bra was caught on camera over the weekend burglarizing several cars in a New Port Richey parking lot, deputies say.
The Pasco Sheriff’s Office says the naked man was seen entering the fenced parking lot at U.S. Water Services Corporation on Sunday. The business is located on Cross Bayou Boulevard in New Port Richey.
Deputies say the man then proceeded to commit several auto burglaries to company vehicles. He then left the area.
Investigators have not yet been able to identify the man. The sheriff’s office released surveillance images of him on Thursday in hopes someone recognizes him.

Florida father allegedly zip-tied son to plywood and forced him to sleep without a mattress JUSTIN CHAN, AOL.COM Jul 19th 2019 5:06PM
A Florida father was arrested after he allegedly used zip ties to strap his 13-year-old son to a piece of plywood.
In a press release, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office announced on Thursday that it had charged Frank McKay, 41, along with his girlfriend Adecia Johnson, 38, with aggravated child abuse and false imprisonment. The police had received reports of suspected abuse on Sunday.
Upon executing a search warrant at McKay's home, law enforcement purportedly discovered the zip ties and plywood.
"According to the 13-year-old victim, McKay bound the child to a piece of plywood where he was forced to sleep without a mattress or any linens," police said. "The child was given a salad, a banana and two bottles of water a day while bound to the plywood."
Authorities later learned through interviews that the unidentified teenager was also bound at Johnson's home.
McKay had reportedly been arrested more than a dozen times in Sarasota County for crimes including nonpayment of child support, possession of cocaine and burglary. Both he and Johnson were held without bond.

A would-be car thief was thwarted by his own inability to drive a stick shift.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Jaylen Alexander tried to steal an elderly man’s car while he was placing his walker in the trunk.
Alexander allegedly attacked the man, jumped into the car, and locked the doors. But when he tried to drive away, he stalled several times.
Alexander had to abandon the vehicle.
Authorities say he stole another car a few minutes later, but was eventually arrested across town.
Alexander has been charged with carjacking, battery on a person age 65 or older, and grand theft of a motor vehicle.

FLORIDA TEEN GETS BITTEN WHILE TRYING TO KISS HIS "PET" WATER MOCCASIN Posted by Mateja Lane June 24, 2019
An 18-year-old in Florida went to the hospital after suffering from multiple bites to the face from a water moccasin. He was in critical condition but also faced major fines.
Austin Hatfield looks, judging from his Facebook page, to be really into snakes. But that love for reptiles had a consequence.
He was taken to Tampa General Hospital to treat injuries caused by a four-foot water moccasin he had caught on a trail by his house.
He kept the water moccasin as a pet and felt it necessary to kiss it on occasion. He kept track of how many times he got his face close to the snake, and had reached 12 before the snake bit him. According to his friend who witnessed the attack, Hatfield went to kiss the snake, that was kept in a pillow case, before "he ran out of the room saying hospital, hospital. Now, now."
As the law stands, it is illegal to keep a wild moccasin without a permit in Florida. Hatfield faced misdemeanor charges and possibly up to 60 days in jail. A spokesperson from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission reminded everyone:
"Just like any animal in Florida, if they pose a danger to people, we recommend you stay a safe distance."

Published 37 mins ago Man on horseback arrested after burglarizing home in Florida By David Aaro | Fox News
A Florida man, Lonnie Maddox, 52, was arrested on charges of burglary of a dwelling after he rode a horse to break into a home in New Port Richey, Florida (Lonnie Maddox Pasco County Sheriff's Office)
Lonnie Maddox, 52, nicknamed 'The Rooster' and his horse named Angel were seen on security footage wandering through the New Port Richey, Fla., property of local resident Steve Ferguson.
Footage showed Maddox opening a screened porch and attempting to get in the padlocked front door. He eventually gave up and tried entering through a back window, breaking it and causing $100 worth of damages, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Soon after, Ferguson noticed Maddox on his security camera and called the local sheriff's office. Before officers arrived at the property, the horse wandered away and was separated from Maddox.
"Who takes a getaway horse to a robbery?" Ferguson told the Tampa Bay Times.
When officers arrived on the scene, Maddox walked toward them and asked if they had seen a horse. The deputies subsequently interrogated Maddox, where they wrote in their report that his priority was finding Angel.
"It's mine, [the horse] I've been trying to get to it, Maddox told the officers.
Angel was discovered about 2 miles away from the scene of the crime on Key Lime Drive in New Port Richey. Police say the horse was eventually returned to its owner, who was not Maddox.
During that time, police talked with some of the neighbors and fed Angel some animal crackers that were in the squad car.
When asked what he was doing at the location, Maddox told the officers Angel got lost and he had gone to get her, according to the arrest report. When they informed him of the security footage, he said he wanted to see the inside because he was planning to rent it.
Police later determined Maddox had a criminal history and had previously been found guilty of domestic battery, drug possession and car theft.

Florida man arrested after Walmart shooting threat on Facebook U.S. & WORLD by: The Associated Press Posted: Aug 11, 2019 / 10:14 AM EDT / Updated: Aug 11, 2019 / 10:14 AM EDT
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Florida authorities are charging a 26-year-old man they say posted a threat on Facebook that he was about to have his semi-automatic rifle returned and people should stay away from Walmart.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested Richard Clayton on Friday north of Orlando. The agency said Clayton posted his threat on Sunday, the day after a gunman in El Paso, Texas, killed 22 people and injured two dozen at a Walmart.
Investigators said the post read, “3 more days of probation left then I get my AR-15 back. Don’t go to Walmart next week.”
A department spokeswoman said Clayton was not on probation.
The agency said it appears Clayton follows white supremacist ideology.
He was charged with making written threats to kill or do bodily harm. The FBI received a tip about the post on Tuesday.

A Florida man wielding nunchucks and bug spray tried to quiet a group of noisy neighbors, spraying them and threatening to open fire on the revelers — but the only person he ended up injuring in the crazed quest for quiet was himself, officials said.
Larry Adams, 61, was arrested after the bizarre confrontation, which residents said was sparked by loud music coming from a car outside a Daytona Beach apartment complex late Monday night, FOX35 Orlando reported. One neighbor told the station Adams initially tried to frighten the group, but the bid backfired – literally – when he struck the car frame with the nunchucks and the martial arts weapon unexpectedly bounced off the vehicle's body and smashed into his face.

Florida Man Arrested After Alleged Botched Castration Inside Home The man told deputies he had met the victim on a website and had performed the procedure on another man years before and had even performed it on himself in 2012 Published Aug 21, 2019 at 10:16 AM
A Florida man is behind bars after what police say was an attempted castration at home that went terribly wrong.
Highlands County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Sebring home of 74-year-old Gary Van Ryswyk this weekend, according to a post on their Facebook page, after a call was placed to their office.
When deputies arrived, Van Ryswyk told them he had just performed the medical procedure on the man inside a room at his home that had been set up like a surgical center.
Van Ryswyk told deputies he had met the victim on a website and had performed the procedure on another man years before and had even performed it on himself in 2012.
The victim was taken to a local hospital before being flown to a local medical center, where he is in stable condition.
Van Ryswyk was arrested Monday and charged with practicing medicine without a license and is currently being held on $250,000 bond.

Florida Man Charged After Being Found With Trump-Shaped Ecstasy Tablets POSTED 11:02 AM, AUGUST 21, 2019, BY ASSOCIATED PRESS, UPDATED AT 11:03AM, AUGUST 21, 2019
Ecstasy pills shaped like President Donald Trump have led to charges against a Florida man.
Indiana State Police released this photo of the pills they seized in 2018.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old Brendan Dolan-King of Clearwater was charged Friday with felony drug possession after police confirmed five Trump-themed orange tablets seized during a June search of his home were in fact illicit drugs.
Authorities say forensic laboratory testing proved the pills to be MDMA, a substance commonly referred to as ecstasy or molly. Police say they also found fentanyl.
According to reports, the puckered-lipped Trump-inspired pills that resemble children’s multivitamins have popped up across Europe and the United States.
Indiana state police in 2018 seized similar orange pills stamped with the 45th president’s face and the words, “great again,” an apparent reference to Trump’s “Make American Great Again” campaign slogan.

Florida man wants the U.S. military to fight Hurricane Dorian with ice Colin Wolf Sep 2, 2019 9:28 AM
Screengrab via Tyler_Vazquez / Twitter
Hurricane Dorian is currently a catastrophic Category 5 hurricane lumbering towards the U.S. coastline at 5 mph, and while there are plenty of smart things to do in the meantime, one Florida man thinks the military should just drop some ice in the water.
"I don’t see how they haven’t come up with some way to combat these storms yet," said an unidentified Palm Bay man to Florida Today's Tyler Vasquez.
"All this warm weather and warm water. We have Navy," he says, looking directly at the camera. "Why don’t the Navy come and drop ice in the warm water so it don’t, so it can’t get going as fast as it’s going," he says, wearing a Hawaiian shirt.
Not stopping at ice, the Palm Bay man also would like the Air Force to get involved.
"There’s gotta be ways to combat this, other than just pointing at the thing and going, 'Well, now it’s getting worse,'" he says, laughing. "Well we know it's getting worse. But you tell us, 'Oh it's the warm weather. Oh, it’s the wind.' Drive some Air Force planes around to get the winds going the other way. The Navy to go in circles, to fight it the other way."
Surprisingly, none of these ideas are as bad as President Trump’s suggestion to nuke a hurricane.

Florida Man Gets A $500 Fine For Telling Police His Name Was “Ben Dover”
Sometimes a joke is worth the cost of the penalty. I for one, believe this is one such case.
A Florida man found himself down $500 after giving false information to police. It started with police trying to remove him from a park in a Florida suburb, and when they asked him his name he replied “Ben Dover”.
The man then gave the cop the finger and tried to run away, but was taken into custody. He pleaded no contest to an obstruction charge and was ordered to pay $500 for a fine. Sorry about your luck Mr. Dover.

Florida man shoots son-in-law in birthday surprise gone awry 59 minutes ago
Christopher Bergan lived in Norway with Mr Dennis' daughter
A US man who shot dead his son-in-law as he jumped out of bushes to wish him happy birthday will face no charges for the "horrible accident," officials say.
Christopher Bergan, 37, had just flown from his native Norway to surprise Richard Dennis, 61, at his home in Gulf Breeze, Florida, on Tuesday night.
Mr Dennis fired one round, striking Mr Bergan in the chest in his backyard.
Mr Dennis had had an altercation earlier that night with a family member, police say.
"I'm not going to second guess Mr Dennis for what he did," Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson told a news conference on Thursday.
"Here he is, he had just had a confrontation at the front of his house," said the lawman.
He said Mr Dennis had had an argument with a family member around 21:36 (01:36 GMT) on 1 October.
That relative had banged on Mr Dennis' front door in a manner similar to how Mr Bergan later did on the backdoor, the sheriff said.
Mr Bergan had arrived at 23:00 that night from Norway, where he lived with Mr Dennis' daughter.
He wanted to surprise his father-in-law for his 61st birthday.
Officials say he went straight to Mr Dennis' house after landing at the airport.
Mr Bergan banged on the backdoor, before jumping out of bushes "growling" as Mr Dennis turned the rear porch light on, the sheriff continued.
He said the backyard is enclosed by a fence.
"Our investigation has revealed that this was totally accidental," said Sheriff Johnson.
"It was a really sad occurrence and no charges are warranted in this case."
"You can't really say anything against Mr Dennis for doing what he did," he added.

Published 33 mins ago Florida man disguised as woman robs bank, steals patrol car, police allege By Stephen Sorace | Fox News
A man in Florida accused of robbing a bank while disguised as a woman has been arrested after he allegedly stole a police cruiser and led deputies on a two-county chase, investigators said.
Gumersindo Reyes Jr., 51, was wearing a gold dress and a red wig when he entered a Chase Bank in Casselberry, northeast of Orlando, and passed a note to the teller demanding money, Police Chief Larry Krantz told reporters. He allegedly left carrying an undisclosed amount of cash in his backpack.
Reyes drew the attention of a passing Seminole County deputy who saw the suspect ditch his disguise behind a bush, Fox 35 Orlando reported.
The deputy got out of his patrol car and confronted Reyes, who police said was displaying "bizarre" behavior.
Reyes was wearing a gold dress and a red wig when he entered a Chase Bank, police said. (Casselberry Police Department)
After failing to subdue Reyes with a stun gun, the deputy chased him into an apartment complex across the street from the bank, WFTV reported. The deputy reached for his firearm to order Reyes to the ground but Reyes also tried to grab the weapon, setting off a struggle.
Reyes then dashed out of the complex and stole the deputy’s patrol vehicle, police said.
"There's nothing that drives me crazier than to see a 'bad guy,' or know that a 'bad guy' got behind the wheel of one of our patrol vehicles, even for just one moment," Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma said. "I'm OK that he was in the car, but he was sitting in the wrong seat."
Reyes led deputies on a wild chase through Seminole and Orange counties before crashing the vehicle into another car in Maitland where they finally arrested him, police said.
He faced numerous charges including battery on an officer, resisting an officer with violence and robbery with a firearm, according to police records.
Reyes had a criminal history of attempted murder and robbery in Puerto Rico, officials told WFTV.

Florida man's mugshot goes viral after traffic stop arrest Published 5 hours ago, Updated 2 hours ago FOX 35 Orlando
( Marion County Sheriff's Office )
OCALA, Fla. - A traffic stop not only led to the arrest of three people, but to a mugshot of a Florida man that has gone viral.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office posted the mugshot of 34-year-old Ricky Deeley on Facebook after he was arrested during a traffic stop in Ocala.
"Deputy Bowman conducted a traffic stop on an expired tag. Behind the wheel, he found Ricky Deeley who had a suspended driver’s license," the sheriff's office wrote.
Deely's mugshot sent the internet into a frenzy, racking up over 7,000 shares and more than 5,000 engagements.
"It looks like his mama had an affair with Shrek!" wrote one commenter.
"They should have just hopped aboard Dumbo and flew away," another commenter wrote regarding Deely's appearance.
Others defended the man against comments that made fun of his appearance, with one person writing: "They are all someone's baby boy and girl. May this help them get the help they so desperately need. Lord, have mercy."
Two others in the vehicle, 20-year-old Logan Tindale and 20-year-old Katlyn Spruill, were also arrested. The sheriff's office reports that Tindale had a felony warrant out for his arrest and lied about his name when originally questioned. Upon searching the vehicle, the deputy found Spruill in possession of a bag containing 23 grams of meth, a handgun, cocaine, marijuana, and various other drug paraphernalia.
All three were taken to the Marion County Jail.

Florida man pays off lunch debts for every child in 9 schools POSTED 4:10 PM, OCTOBER 13, 2019, BY WEB STAFF
JUPITER, Fla. -- $944.34 was the total outstanding lunch debt in all nine Jupiter area schools and one local man says that's a small price to pay to make a big difference in a life of a child, WPEC reports.
"I went in there and I said 'I want to pay off the lunch debt,'" Andrew Levy said.
When Levy learned that over 400 kids in his community couldn't get a full meal in their school cafeterias, he felt he had to take action.
"These children that were in debt were going to either not eat or they would get just cheese sandwiches and I thought 'that's crazy,'" Levy said.
He had no agenda, no children in the district and no personal connection to the schools, but he knew he could make a difference, so he made it happen.
"Food is something that you shouldn't have to think about. Children shouldn't have to learn hungry," Levy said.
After he paid the bills, Levy posted about it on Facebook.
Soon hundreds of people commented asking if they could contribute next time too.
Before he knew it, Levy's act of kindness started a chain reaction across Palm Beach County.
"I even have had some clients over the past 48 hours say 'You know something? I want to help. I want to give too,'" Levy said. "Every quarter, I'm going to do either a GoFundMe page or a fundraising page that can raise money every quarter so lunch debt never accumulates."

Florida man, 94, says he tried killing himself in murder-suicide but gun 'malfunctioned'
A Florida man was arrested Monday night after he says he tried – and failed – to kill himself as the latter part of a murder-suicide plan that only resulted in him killing his wife.
Wayne Juhlin, 94, called police to report that his wife, an 80-year-old suffering from dementia, was dead. Investigators responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m., and Juhlin told them he "decided to end her life by shooting her" before turning the gun on himself.
Juhlin "intended on turning the gun on himself and taking his own life after killing his wife, but the gun malfunctioned," the Venice Police Department said in a news release.
He said the jammed weapon prevented him "from carrying out the suicide portion of the event," the release said.
