| Florida woman arrested after committing robbery with toy gun, fleeing on tricycle December 26, 2018 at 3:21 PM EST - Updated December 27 at 9:13 AM COLLIER COUNTY, FL (WTXL/RNN) - A Florida woman has been arrested after robbing a postal worker with a plastic toy gun and fleeing on a tricycle. Leida Crisostomo, 52, of Naples, was arrested on Saturday by the Collier County Sheriff's Office. According to the Naples Daily News, while being handcuffed, Crisostomo "yelled that she was God" and that "voices were telling her to do things." They say Crisostomo stopped a U.S. Postal Service mail truck and stole a single package before fleeing the scene on a tricycle. The Naples Daily News reported Crisostomo also pointed the gun at a jogger. Deputies later discovered the gun was a fake, plastic toy. She is being charged with felony armed robbery and aggravated assault. |

| A naked Santa just strolled through a drug store in South Beach BY MADELEINE MARR UPDATED NOVEMBER 29, 2018 11:56 AM A shopper at a Walgreens in South Beach really got into the holiday spirit as evidenced by a video posted Wednesday on humor site Only in Dade. The video shows a slim, elderly man casually strolling out of the store with his purchase in a plastic Walgreens bag. He’s naked except for knee high white boots, white angel wings, red garter belt and a long Santa Claus hat. Fellow shoppers looked curiously at him as he walked by and exited the store at 5th Street and Collins Avenue. A Santa emoji is placed strategically over the individual’s naughty bits. It is unclear when the video was shot. But since Wednesday’s cold snap sent many locals rushing for their only jackets, we’re thinking the Walgreens naked Santa guy may have been a bit chilly. |

| In Florida, another doorbell licker is spotted on cameraBy Frank Miles | Fox News | Published 1 hour ago Could this be the start of the next American epidemic. In Lake Worth, Florida, a man was recorded late last month on a surveillance video, licking things at the front door. And, strange as this sounds, he wasn't the first. At the beginning of January, another man was spotted in much the same manner, doing much the same thing, in Salinas, California. FOX 46 reported that the Florida video was recorded in the early morning on Jan. 24. The man is recorded licking the doorbell again, and again, and again. The news outlet said the man seemed to put a stack of newspapers in front of the camera and pointed toward the newspapers. It’s unclear what he was trying to show his audience on the surveillance video. Video at https://www.foxnews.com/tech/in-florida-another-doorbell-lickers-caught-on-camera |

| Florida mayor charged with playing doctor without a license shot at SWAT team, cops sayBY DAVID J. NEAL | FEBRUARY 21, 2019 10:40 AM, UPDATED 41 MINUTES AGO A SWAT team trying to serve a search warrant at Port Richey home Thursday before dawn were fired upon as they entered, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said. The shooter, as identified by Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco: Port Richey Mayor Dale Massad. Florida Department of Law Enforcement said they arrested the 68-year-old Massad on charges of practicing medicine without a license. The office of Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody will prosecute Massad. Nocco said Massad will also be charged with attempted homicide. This occurred at 4:40 a.m. as PCSO was helping serve a search warrant at the home of Massad, who was under investigation by FDLE for practicing medicine without a license. He hasn’t been a doctor for just over 26 years. PCSO knows Massad from previous dealings, most recently an August domestic violence arrest (charges were dropped). “With a search warrant, we profile people’s lives, we look at their pattern of life,” Nocco said. “The suspect is a known drug user. The suspect has multiple weapons in the house. which was prevalent in what happened. The suspect has made statements that he doesn’t want to go back to jail. The suspect has a previous history of violence. “That’s who we were dealing with today.” According to Nocco, when the SWAT team approached and announced their presence, deputies could see Massad holding a gun. Nocco said Massad fired two rounds at deputies and they chose to surround the house. Others inside the house came out, but Massad remained inside. Deputies were preparing to use gas, Nocco said, when Massad surrendered. “The suspect has been arrested,” Nocco said. “He shot at our members. He’s lucky he’s not dead.” Florida Department of Health records say Massad was a licensed doctor from 1977 until 1992, when he voluntarily surrendered his license after the Board of Medicine alleged his errors in care led to a 3-year-old patient’s death in 1990. “Agents launched an investigation and learned Massad had patients come to his home for various treatments,” FDLE said. “He had performed medical procedures at his residence with one procedure requiring additional hospital treatment for the patient.” See pdf file at link: https://www.miamiherald.com/news/state/florida/article226563284.html |

| Florida Cop Suspended After Allegedly Allowing Suspects to Give Each Other Hand Jobs
by Colin Kalmbacher | 2:03 pm, February 23rd, 2019 A police officer in Florida was disciplined after allegedly allowing a pair of suspects to engage in some manual sexual activity in the back of his patrol car last summer. According to an internal affairs report released Friday, 23-year-old Zachery Moellendick and 24-year-old Krista Leigh were taken into custody for allegedly shoplifting at a Walmart in July 2018. The report claims the couple had stolen jewelry and a stolen baby toy in their possession, so Fort Pierce Police Officer Doug McNeal arrested them and escorted the duo to his vehicle. Per that report, Moellendick was placed inside the car without handcuffs. At the time, he reportedly had a lighter in his pocket and a cigarette tucked behind one of his ears. Leigh was handcuffed non-traditionally–with her hands in front of her. Neither suspect was wearing their seat-belt during the ride in question. The Fort Pierce Police Department alleges that Officer McNeal violated policy by failing to properly search or restrain the couple before the trip even started. But once the ride did start, the report claims, those departmental violations steadily increased. Video appears to show the couple kissing and cuddling on the way to St. Lucie County Jail. At some point, Officer McNeal apparently decides to help the atmosphere a bit by playing Barry White‘s mood-setting classic love song, “Can’t Get Enough Of Your Love.” Once the trio arrive at the jail, Moellendick asks if he can smoke. McNeal apparently lets him do so, but says to smoke inside the car because jail employees won’t let anyone smoke outside, according to the report. Department regulations prohibit the use of tobacco in patrol cars. Then, according to the report, Officer McNeal started finishing up his paperwork; while the couple started working on something else entirely. “Due to Leigh and Moellendick’s body posture and arm movements, it is apparent Moellendick and Leigh are sexually pleasuring each other with their hands,” the internal affairs report reads. “This continues for approximately six minutes.” The report continues on: During Detective Eason’s interviews with Leigh and Moellendick, Leigh stated Moellendick “fingered” her while she gave him a “hand job”. Moellendick stated he “got her off and she got me off.” During Detective Eason’s interview with McNeal, when asked about Leigh and Moellendick’s kissing and cuddling while in transport to the jail and when parked in the jail sally port, McNeal stated he saw the activity and “was fine with it.” He denied seeing any sexual activity. All the actively [sic] was captured by McNeal’s [body worn camera] which was positioned below his rear view mirror. “Two St. Lucie County Deputies appear behind the patrol car and appear to take notice of the activity,” the report notes. McNeal was ultimately subjected to a 20-day suspension without pay. Read the full report below: |

| Area Gym Teacher Arrested For Farting On StudentBy Roy Riffle Pensacola, FL — A Florida gym teacher is on administrative leave after farting “in the general direction” of a Pensacola High School Junior earlier this week. Davis Allen Darden, 38, has taught at the school for nearly 15 years and has deliberately denied passing gas on 16-year-old Graham Briton’s face during a routine “wrestling demonstration session.” “I saw the whole thing,” said fellow junior Robin Minstrel. “Mr. Darden is pretty rough on us all the time, and Grammy [Graham Briton] is a real smart ass. So I think Mr. Darden just wanted him to teach him a lesson or something like that.” Pensacola High principal James Knight Ni, a 20 year veteran of the school, said in his report to the police that Mr. Darden didn’t intentionally “let one slip out” as he pinned the young Briton to the gym mat. However other witnesses say the 16-year-old repeatedly taunted the gym teacher in numerous ways including making raspberry noises with his mouth, and threatening to fling livestock into his Castlerock Drive yard. “Yeah, Grammy doesn’t know when to stop. But when he told Mr. Darden that his wife smelt of Elderberries, that’s when he had it,” continued Ms. Minstrel. It was that point, according to the police report which was filed early this morning, that Darden flipped the scrawny Briton onto his stomach and, “let one rip” so loud that it echoed all the way around the newly renovated multi-purpose gymnasium. It Shook the Gym “You could have heard a pin drop,” said senior Ariel Zoot who watched in horror as Darden released his stench into the arena. “It was certainly juicy. And long too. But it was the smell. I bet he was brewing that one up since last night.” Mr. Darden was released without bond and according to his lawyer, he plans on fighting the charges. “Mr. Darden is completely innocent of these charges,” said his attorney Bethany Millbright who has represented others in the area under similar charges. “Although Mr. Darden doesn’t deny accidentally passing gas, he rigorously denies deliberately doing it. Accidents happen.” Darden is scheduled to appear in court next week to enter a plea. |

| Sheriff: Man throws Molotov cocktails at impounded carMarch 4, 2019 ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A man in Florida is accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at his impounded car. The Orlando Sentinel reports 27-year-old Ayub Mule Abdulrahman arrived at Almake Auto Shop on Saturday to pay the towing fee for his Nissan Altima. Authorities say Abdulrahman was no longer there when the property’s owner arrived. An arrest affidavit says the owner was told a car in his tow lot was on fire. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says the owner identified Abdulrahman as the man throwing Molotov cocktails at the car through video surveillance. The owner put out the fire and no one was injured. Abdulrahman was arrested and charged with arson and manufacturing and transporting a firebomb. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer who could comment. ___ Information from: Orlando Sentinel, http://www.orlandosentinel.com/ |

| Florida man tries to board flight with rocket propelled grenade launcherby Gary Detman - Tuesday, March 5th 2019 ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (CBS12)- A man from northeast Florida tried to get on a plane with a rocket propelled grenade launcher in his luggage, the TSA said Tuesday. Authorities said the traveler's checked bag set off the alarms Monday at the Lehigh Valley International Airport near Allentown, just north of Philadelphia. Officers with the Transportation Security Administration opened the bag to find unassembled parts of an RPG launcher with a replica grenade packed inside. The TSA said fortunately the device was not a functioning launcher. Security workers tracked the man down at the departure gate. He was from St. Augustine and on his way to Orlando. According to the TSA, he believed he could bring the item on the plane. The items are now the property of the TSA. The agency wants to remind people real weapons or replicas are not allowed on planes. |
