Laura Ingraham: If Biden wins, he'll be no more than a 'figurehead' for the radical left By Julia Musto | Fox News| 1 hour ago
Ingraham: Four years of punishment
Biden will just be a figurehead president with the radical left pulling the strings.
If presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden wins the election in November, he will be no more than a figurehead for the radical left, "The Ingraham Angle" host Laura Ingraham asserted Wednesday night.
According to Ingraham, while "Never Trumpers" and mainstream Democrats have tried to convince independent voters that a Biden victory would return America back to some sense of normalcy, nothing could be further from the truth.
"Now, all you need to do is watch – I don't know – three to four minutes of Biden speaking live on almost any subject and you'll know he's extremely weak," she pointed out.
"Now at best, he'll be a figurehead president. And, without the physical, mental, or intellectual strength to stand up to the radicals on the left, whatever sense he had will be quickly overwhelmed," Ingraham predicted.
The host warned that that, while liberals on the left with the most "abolish America elements" are "emboldened" because of the Black Lives Matter movement, Biden would not be able to stand up to their "cultural power" and ideology
Ingraham noted that former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama were able to stand up to their "cultural Marxists," but said Biden has "no such aura."
"They're going to treat him as they would treat someone like, I don't know, Ralph Northam," she exclaimed, referring to the governor of Virginia. After pressure from protesters, Northam recently announced he would remove one of the country's most iconic monuments to the Confederacy — a statue of Gen. Robert E. Lee. Now, Northam is going to court over it.
Biden would also give the far-left Democrats what they want, Ingraham argued, because he does not have the "courage" to stand up to them.
The Fox News primetime host cautioned that once the "hard left" got power, they would make Americans "suffer through intimidation and bullying campaigns."
"Disagree with them and you'll be branded a racist. And, if you're black and you disagree with them, you're just an Uncle Tom," she added.
Ingraham also warned that in a Biden administration those who have a "traditional view" of history or of religion would be ousted from society and "marked for judgment" — and the toppling of statues would be the least of America's problems.
"The idea that a President Biden would return America to some quaint imagined past if a dangerous fantasy," Ingraham remarked. "If he wins, the hard left wins. And that means that the culture wars are going to get a lot worse than they are right now. His administration [would] use the full reach of the executive branch to torment all political and cultural enemies."
"Their aim is to pull down our whole culture," she concluded.

Reporter: Democrats privately say Biden is lacking 'mental acuity' By Joe Saunders, The Western Journal Published June 22, 2020 at 8:03pm
The timing couldn’t have been better.
On the same day the Joe Biden presidential campaign made a show of announcing it had accepted the idea of three debates with President Donald Trump in the fall, a Washington-based media reporter was interviewed by Fox News explaining that Biden seems to lack the mental wherewithal even to handle questions at a news conference.
Considering it’s a safe bet that virtually the entire national news corps is secretly -- and not-so-secretly -- rooting for a Biden victory over Trump in November, that’s a damning statement itself.
Joe Concha, a media reporter for The Hill, told Steve Doocy on “Fox & Friends” Monday that Democrats are well aware of the fact that the former vice president is no longer at the top of his game in the smarts department.
“A lot of Democrats will tell you, at least privately, that he does not have the mental acuity that he even had a couple of years ago and this is a candidate that simply would not able to withstand the type of press conferences that the current president has, as far as them going on for an hour, an hour and a half, taking questions with multiple outlets with no ground rules attached,” Concha said.
As even Trump-loathing Americans know, the president has put in extensive hours facing openly hostile questioning from the national news media – his daily coronavirus briefings alone gave even those who don’t follow politics a look at how many national “news reporters” treat their coverage of the White House like it’s a personal cable commentary segment. (Jim Acosta isn't the only one by any stretch.)
No one who has an even passing familiarity with what passes for journalism at the national level in 2020 would expect Biden to face anything like the hostility Trump does on a regular basis.
Still, as Concha noted, Biden is unwilling to face an actual news conference made up of reporters who aren’t chosen for their friendliness to the candidate, honoring limits that have been established in advance.
“It’s a lot easier ... to have, say, a handpicked interview, where you have ground rules for interviews, with certain outlets that may be friendly to your candidate, as opposed to having a press conference which Mr. Biden has not done for 80 days,” Concha said.
Actually, even with presumably liberal interviewers, Biden has shown himself eminently capable of creating embarrassing moments -- like when he instructed a black radio host’s overwhelmingly black audience that if any black person has trouble deciding whether to support Biden or Trump, “you ain’t black.”
Going back to the Democratic primary campaign, Biden’s media appearances were a seemingly never-ending series of gaffes, including apparently forgetting what state he was in and what president he served in the White House.
Yet, according to a Fox News report Monday, Biden’s campaign was using its acceptance of three proposed presidential debates to attack Trump’s campaign for suggesting even more head-to-head clashes to see who will be being sworn in on Jan. 20, 2021.
In a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates, Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon said her candidate was ready.
“While I know no formal debate invitation will be issued to Joe Biden or Donald Trump until after the Party Conventions and the CPD’s invitation process, I wanted to set forth our views on how the Commission should proceed with planning for the fall debates,” Dillon wrote, according to Fox.
"First, once formally invited, Vice President Biden will accept and participate in the Commission’s planned Presidential candidates’ debates for September 29, October 15, and October 22; his running mate will participate in the Vice Presidential candidates’ debate set for October 7."
“We hope that President Trump and Vice President Pence will similarly indicate their willingness to participate.”
Let’s assume it’s a good bet that Trump is just as ready as Biden is for the meetings.
In fact, given that last week, according to Fox, Trump campaign chairman Brad Parscale and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani pressed the commission for more debates that start earlier, it’s a safe bet Trump is raring to go.
And considering that Trump hasn’t forgotten what state he’s in lately, or spouted off incongruous insults like calling a young woman a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier,” and that he has publicly told journalist Sharyl Attkisson that Biden is “not mentally sharp enough to be president,” it’s practically a given that Trump is better than ready to handle Biden on a national debate stage.
What the country is likely to see then, especially over the course of three debates, is what Concha was talking about: A Democratic candidate who, Concha says, even Democrats know isn’t the man he was even a few years ago.
Of course, with concentration, coaching and effort, Biden could make his debate appearances better than expectations. But given his tendency to make a fool of himself in public, and the fact that he’s been hiding from the media for almost three months, Biden would probably beat expectations just by managing to stay upright for the length of any debate without spilling oatmeal down his shirt.
That doesn’t and won't change the widespread perception, even among members of his own party, that Biden doesn’t have the fastball he used to have – and won’t ever have again.
A country that has watched Donald Trump deal daily with viperous attacks from the mainstream media knows he’s got it upstairs. He has to, or he would have been cooked a long time ago.
For Concha to bring Biden’s weakness to light on the same day the Biden campaign is essentially boasting about its willingness for Biden to take on Trump one-on-one is beyond perfect timing.
It couldn’t have been better.

Most voters say Biden used vice presidency to financially benefit his family and friends, poll finds The poll found 53% of U.S. voters think it’s likely Joe Biden used his position as Vice President to benefit family and friends. Just 29% consider it unlikely. By Carrie Sheffield Last Updated: June 24, 2020 - 1:42pm
Voters think Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden used his former position as vice president to financially benefit his family and friends, according to a new Just the News Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen.
The poll found 53% of U.S. voters think it’s likely Biden like used his post as a two-term vice president for President Obama for such financial gains. Just 29% consider it unlikely.
Biden has come under fire for business dealings by his son Hunter Biden, including Hunter's membership on the board of a Ukrainian gas company called Burisma, despite having no experience in the energy sector or Ukrainian policy.
"At one level, this is simply a reflection of general public attitude," Rasmussen said. "Voters routinely assume that just about all politicians use their office for personal gain – it’s almost part of the informal job description. Additionally, there is a natural partisan divide. Republicans naturally believe Democrats break the rules, while Democrats think the same of Republicans."
Eighty-one percent (81%) of Republicans consider it likely than Biden used his public office for private gain. Independent voters, a 49% to 26% margin, also think it’s likely. However, just 32% of Democrats agree while 50% of those in Biden’s party say it’s unlikely.
Just the News Daily Poll respondents were asked “How likely is it that Joe Biden used his official position as Vice President to financially benefit his family and friends?" They responded as below:
34% Very likely 19% Somewhat likely 14% Not very likely 15% Not at all likely 17% Not Sure
The national survey of 1,200 registered voters was conducted June 18-20, 2020 by Rasmussen, a polling veteran. Margin of sampling error: +/- 2.8% for full sample.

Biden cancer nonprofit paid its top execs millions. It spent little to eradicate cancer By Joe Schoffstall | Washington Free Beacon
Nearly two-thirds of the money the Biden Cancer Initiative spent since its founding in 2017 went toward staff compensation and six-figure salaries for top executives. The group spent far less on efforts to eradicate cancer.
One of several nonprofits Joe Biden created following his tenure in the White House, the Biden Cancer Initiative paid top executives lavishly, with salaries comprising nearly 65 percent of its total expenditures. That is well above the 25 percent charity watchdogs recommend nonprofits spend on administrative overhead and fundraising costs combined.
The nonprofit raised and spent $4.8 million over its two years in operation, its 2017 and 2018 tax forms show. Slightly more than $3 million of that amount went to salaries, compensation, and benefits. At the same time, the group spent just $1.7 million on all of its other expenses. A bulk of this cash—$740,000—was poured into conferences, conventions, and meetings. It did not cut a single grant to any other group or foundation during its two-year run.
An analysis of nonprofits by Charity Navigator, which rates charities for effectiveness, found that mid-to-large-sized nonprofits paid their chief executives an average salary of $126,000 per year—far less than what the Biden Cancer Initiative paid its president, Greg Simon, who pocketed $224,539 in 2017 and $429,850 in 2018. Charity Navigator's primary criterion for rating charities is whether they "spend at least 75% of their expenses directly on their programs."
The Biden cancer group's financial disclosures may raise new questions about whether the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee allowed associates to profit off their access to him.

Published 1 hour ago Biden slammed after wrongly saying ‘we have over 120 million dead from COVID’ By Andrew O'Reilly | Fox News
Republicans are slamming Joe Biden after the presumptive Democratic nominee made a verbal gaffe during a campaign stop in Pennsylvania and said 120 million people had died from the novel coronavirus.
“People don’t have a job, people don’t know where to go, they don’t know what to do,” Biden said Thursday. “Now we have over 120 million dead from COVID.”
As of Thursday, there have been more than 122,000 – not million -- coronavirus deaths in the United States, according to Johns Hopkins figures.
While Biden appears to immediately catch himself after his gaffe -- the pool video of Biden’s comments cuts off after he made the remark – Republicans were quick to jump on the former vice president’s comment.
“WHAT IS GOING ON WITH JOE BIDEN?” Steve Guest, the Republican National Committee’s rapid response director, tweeted out with a link to the clip.
President Trump’s reelection campaign team went after Biden even harder – calling him “very confused” and dredging up one of Biden’s past gaffes when he said that 150 million Americans had died from gun violence since 2007.
“Joe Biden is very confused,” the campaign tweeted out. “He's not playing with a full deck, folks. #BarelyThereBiden.”
Biden was in Lancaster, Pa., to discuss unveil his healthcare proposals as his campaign revs up for more appearances after months indoors amid the coronavirus pandemic. His campaign has focused on small group gatherings to mitigate chances of spreading COVID-19 instead of large public rallies like Trump has begun to hold again.
During his stop, Biden pushed the need to protect Affordable Care Act, or ObamaCare, while also taking shots at Trump’s recent comments on testing. Trump told a crowd at a rally over the weekend that he asked staff to slow down coronavirus testing.
“He called testing, quote, a double edge sword,” Biden said. “Let's be crystal clear about what he means by that. Testing unequivocally saves lives and widespread testing is the key to opening our economy. That's one edge of the sword. The other edge, he thinks that finding out that more Americans are sick will make him look bad.”
Biden added: “Donald Trump needs to stop caring about how he looks to start caring about what America has happened to the rest of America.”
Biden’s verbal slip-ups have plagued him throughout his 2020 presidential bid with the Trump campaign using them as fodder to argue that the presumptive Democratic nominee is unfit for the Oval Office, as well as to draw attention away from Trump’s own mistakes.
The president himself has been hammered by pundits and Democrats for false or misleading claims he’s made regarding the coronavirus pandemic – from his now infamous March 6 declaration that "anybody that wants a test can get a test" to claiming that the Obama administration had left him with bad or old tests for COVID-19 even though there could not have been a test until Trump's presidency.
Despite Biden’s slip-ups on the stump, his poll numbers against Trump continue to rise with a Real Clear Politics average showing the former vice president holding a 10 point lead over the current White House occupant with the general election less than five months away.

Old comments from 1977 resurfaced, quoting Biden as saying that non-"orderly" racial integration policies would cause his children to "grow up in a racial jungle." He then said: "Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point."

Ex-George W. Bush officials launch new group supporting Joe Biden
A group of former George W. Bush administration and campaign officials has launched a new super PAC to mobilize disaffected Republican voters for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
The group, launched Wednesday under the name ______ "43 Alumni for Biden," "seeks to unite and mobilize a community of historically Republican voters who are dismayed and disappointed by the damage done to our nation by Donald Trump's presidency," according to a release. The formation of the group is the latest example of efforts being made by anti-Trump Republicans to defeat the President in November.
Karen Kirksey, the director of the committee and who worked on the Bush 2000 election campaign and in the Labor and Agriculture Departments, said the endorsement of Biden is "not necessarily in full support of his political agenda but rather in full agreement with the urgent need to restore the soul of this nation."
"For four years, we have watched with grave concern as the party we loved has morphed into a cult of personality that little resembles the Party of Lincoln and Reagan," Kirksey said in a statement.
"Once elected, we look forward to working in a bipartisan way through civil, spirited debate on the many important issues facing Americans today and for decades to come," she continued later.
Reuters was first to report on the details of the group. Kristopher Purcell, who worked in the Office of Communications in the White House and in the State Department during the Bush administration, told CNN that about 200 former officials and those who were part of the Bush campaigns have joined the group.
"A lot of us who worked in government, who have held positions of public integrity, we know what normal is." "We're seeing now what abnormal is and we're seeing the damage it can do to the country. We're seeing the way it can divide the country."
"The reason we're supporting former Vice President Biden," he continued, "is we believe he can bring stability to the country and honor and integrity back to the White House. The leadership and moral authority of the United States has been incredibly damaged."
View 2020 presidential election polling "We're made up of Republicans, Democrats, and independents. We're a pretty diverse group that worked for the Bush administration during his eight years in office and a lot of us who have been involved in the Republican Party in the past were just looking for ways to get involved, to support Joe Biden for President because we haven't really campaigned with Democrats in the past."
"We're not part of any other group, so this is a group where we felt comfortable going in and speaking with one voice." 43 Alumni for Biden is backing the former vice president as Trump's support slips in the polls.
Last month, a group of Republican operatives launched "Right Side PAC," that, according the group's founder Matt Borges, will work to turn "that group of Republicans who feels that Donald Trump is an existential threat to the country and this party."
A group called Republican Voters Against Trump launched a $10 million ad campaign in May targeting GOP-leaning voters in top swing states to encourage them to support Biden.
And a group of "Never Trump" Republicans formed the Lincoln Project in late 2019 and have run negative ads that have drawn the ire of Trump.
